Michael Jackson was not against the remixes of the 'Blood On The Dance Floor' album because he knew the commercial value in these remixes. Why was MJ so involved in the remixes for Thriller 25 when he was so against remixes for BotDF? Is there an explanation for this?
None of this is true.Michael Jackson was not against the remixes of the 'Blood On The Dance Floor' album because he knew the commercial value in these remixes.
The same goes for the remixes of the 'Thriller 25' album, and he was more involved in these remixes because he hoped that they would boost up his career which at that time (2008) was in sharp decline.
It is also a false myth that Michael Jackson disliked his songs being remixed/altered, considering that it was his idea for example the 'Billie Jean' lyrics to be changed into Pepsi lyrics in order the song to be used for the Pepsi commercial.
All of this is true.None of this is true.
In the Closet - behind the door remixes is nice ones, my favs ones from Dangerous! From the ones listed here, I like Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' 2008 and History Tony Moran. For Scream, I prefer some of the remixes from the CD singles.
Better are the Dangerous remixes. I recently picked up Jam, In The Closet and Who Is It, original 90s UK CDs. They've got some good house remixes.
You also have stuff like The Remix Suite.
