I haven't heard Liberian Girl for a while, a really great song.

Honestly, I would buy tickets if Janet takes up Michael's parts in The Jacksons' shows. Anyone in contact with Janet or the brothers..?This just made me curious why Janet has never been with her brothers in the band.
AI was used to extract these vocals from the song.
Alright. Looking forwardI just finished working on it with Storm so i might give it a break before pursuing another mix hahah. def will look into it though.
Janet's far too big of a live act etc to start touring with the brothers.Honestly, I would buy tickets if Janet takes up Michael's parts in The Jacksons' shows. Anyone in contact with Janet or the brothers..?![]()
Anybody knows what he's saying at 3:45? It's been bothering me since 1995.
Dom Sheldon is a cold man (He doesn't know!)Anybody knows what he's saying at 3:45? It's been bothering me since 1995.

Timbaland Flips Chrisean Rock’s “Hood Gospel” Snippet Into New Song Using A.I.
Timbaland continues to position himself as an early adopter of the polarizing technology.
That wasn't AI. That was a computer generated motion captured recreation of an impersonator projected onto a pane of glass. It was 10 years ago anyway.Honestly, I think AI is scary how realistic it can look. When I first watched the AI Slave to the Rhythm music video I had genuinely believed it was him. I had just learned of Michael's existence and was a very new fan. Once I had learned more about hi. And seen more pictures of him I realized that it wasn't him and that something was off. Don't ask me what cuz I still don't know. There's just something about Michael that AI cannot capture and I don't like it.
I did not know know that, very interesting. Thank youThat wasn't AI. That was a computer generated motion captured recreation of an impersonator projected onto a pane of glass. It was 10 years ago anyway.
unpopular opinion:
I wouldn't mind sony/estate to use AI on new MJ album but rules are:
1. A.I only can be used to fill gaps. Means when they have incomplete songs where Michael sung only a full chorus or something. I wouldn't mind them to use AI to fix stuff.
2. A.I cannot be used on music.
3. Original Demos should also be released.
i mean.. better use A.I trained on MJs voice than impersonators (2010......)
I agree. If they had been/are 100% open about it I also wouldn't mind if they used/will use impersonators, or a mixture of impersonators/A.I./old vocals tbh. But it should be done in a very transparant and respectful way; show what you do to the tracks (is actually very interesting to see imo) to finish them in the spirit of MJ and the rightful sounds of each era. And only while releasing/giving away the original demo's too!
only thing i'd be somewhat alright with would be background harmonies, but even then its ****** with work that shouldnt be fucked with.
Big difference between production and ai voices, one is “modernising” production by other people and one is making vocals that never existed, the definition of putting words in Jackson’s mouth. Don’t even attempt to compare the concept of Xscape & ai.Xscape was also "****** with work that shouldn't be fucked with" without the use of A.I...
they literally DELETED michaels ideas and made it worse with most of the songs.

They did not delete "everything" Michael did, and depending on the song it wasn't even Michael's work, it was Dr. Freeze's or Cory Rooney's (with MJs input)."modernising" = deleting EVERYTHING Michael did?
Nah... don't agree with this.

And they gave the originals just as you proposed doing with the Artificial Intelligence, so there's no difference there even if you have a point.
Blue Gangsta clearly has elements of the original, as does LNFSG. Slave to The Rhythm is a straight modernization. And they all have his finger snaps throughoutummm.. they did.
And i remember how timbaland was saying that he did not even listen to the originals when he did his version.

I think that opinion would be tested when I bring out certain songs by name. But I don't even care about "timeless", some of his best work is timeless, not all of it. All of it to me seems quality and that's the case. Not a lot of his work was lazy. And the little bit that is, well, that's still more effort than a lotta other people's.Also Xscape is not timeless because it’s an album full of „trap beats“. MJ Originals are timeless.
Maybe. But I would object to changing the words and vocals way more than the beats.Doesn’t change the fact that MJ had a different vision for his songs.
that's not what "trap beats" are.Doesn’t change the fact that MJ had a different vision for his songs. Even if they used some original elements here and there.
Also Xscape is not timeless because it’s an album full of „trap beats“. MJ Originals are timeless. But that’s just my opinion.
