Spin Off From The Faking Michael Podcast Thread and The Wider Issue of the Fake Songs

Nothing in the Casio aspect has damaged MJs legacy. Nobody puts any stock in the after death releases, unless it's in a positive way genuinely.

The allegations remain the only damaging part of Michael's legacy.
There will be normies who bought that album and still think those tracks are him. They will think THAT voice came from him. That is a stain on his legacy.

Perhaps but I have really not heard about that and I can't imagine they wouldn't hear about this.

His voice was not different on Vince. He sounded like himself, he sang in a deeper register on some songs but he sounded the same. Processed vocals don't change your voice. Even when you play with pitch, Michael Jackson still sounds like Michael Jackson.
I didn't say he didn't sound like Michael Jackson. He sounded different (tired, strained and slurry) and used auto tune though, so that could have added up on people believing Riley

Break of Dawn, You Rock My World, Don't Walk Away, The Lost Children, Speechless, Butterflies, Cry, Heartbreaker.... Y'all need to quit dragging this "sounding off on Invincible angle". He sounds the same as normal on half the tracks. It's literally just a couple songs where you can tell that he's Forty Two.

If you think he sounded the same as before than I can't help you, to most of the older fans his voice on Invincible wa shockingly bad

Hard disagree. His voice had so much character on Invincible - Butterflies in particular. The production was definitely very different to all his previous albums, and I would agree with any criticism about that.

What songs outside of ‘heartbreaker’ and ‘threatened’ used autotune? And those were use for the futuristic sound he was going for. He still didnt sound “different” if he sounded like himself. He sounded tired strained and slurry? 😂😂😂. Yall say anything. Michael sounded great on Whatever Happens, Break Of Dawn, Don’t Walk Away, Heaven Can Wait, Invincible, YRMW…hell the whole album. He went back to his Urban/RNB roots and thats the issue most of yall cant deal with and thats why that album gets so much hate from a particular demographic of the fan community. But i’ll leave that discussion for another day.

He sounds like a great singer I mean. That's the same as befors I mean. Nothing "shockingly bad" about it, you act like he suddenly was off key.

I wouldn’t say “shockingly bad,” but there were definitely a couple moments where he sounded less than great. I maintain that “Heaven Can Wait” is his single worst vocal performance to date. But there’s also brilliant moments.
