i dont like loving things on here cuz a lot of ppl are looking at his body in a revolting manner, but i just love his facial expression and ive always found the shin-leg guard things so fun and interesting. i feel like they could prohibit a lot of dance movement but it dont stop him, plus nobody but him could pull it off, lol.

Just a personal preference thing ig. It makes me feel physically sick when ppl talk about him as if he's an object. Just feels dehumanizing and disrespectful, you know? That's just my opinion anyways, nothing big nothing small, just how I vibe and view the world.

Noone is doing this on this forum! I wouldn´t be here if people dehumanized Michael on MJJC. We all love and appreciate Michael as a human being. Sexual energy and attraction is a part of being human.

Please just avoid this thread if it makes you uncomfortable.

@#applehead24 that is why there are two threads marked 18+. You can avoid these. There are about 10 other picture threads, and most of these images get shared in other threads too.
No one is dehumanizing Michael here. It's coming from a place of love and appreciation for Michael.

Look, this thread started when Michael was alive. Michael knew that we saw him in this way, it was an inside joke between the fans and Michael. Younger fans need to realise that there are things in the fan community that started long before they were born. This is one of them. Instead of criticizing it, learn about Michael.

applehead, the Gold Pants thread and the Manhood thread are both labelled as '18+', meaning the content of both threads is a little more 'adult' than the other picture threads and that people posting in both of those threads are meant to be minimum 18yo. It's just to advise people so they can make the choices that suit them. The first post in both threads reminds people to still be respectful of Michael but they are allowed to have a little bit of fun, also. If it upsets you there are so many other picture threads to enjoy, literally dozens of them.

In Michael's performances - videos and onstage - he used a great deal of sexual energy so of course people will respond to that. His lyrics often explore sexual tension between men and women. If it's a subject that isn't for you there's plenty of other stuff to focus on.

I hear you - although I disagree, I don't think people are dehumanising him but, still, you are entitled to have a different response. It's worth noting that Michael, when he was a member of MJJC, loved the Gold Pants thread. Apparently it was his favourite thread! I have no idea what he thought about the Manhood thread but there is hardly any difference between 'Manhood' and 'Gold Pants' so I assume he was OK with both of them.

exactly, Michael had no issue and it was an inside joke between him and the fans. New young fans need to understand that things happened before they were born that they might not understand or like.

No i understand that, not all newer fans or people born after Michael's time are ignorant. I just said that my personal opinion and preferences that dont have to be made into a big deal. thats just how i view the world.
Gosh i didnt expect my post to bring a lot of criticism, sorry yall. I do agree the thread is fun, just not always my cup of tea so i dont be on here much.
what i didnt know was that this was one of Michael's favorite threads, i find that fun, thx for that fun fact @zinniabooklover!

I hope my post came across more as 'FYI' than criticism. Moonstreet does make a good point about people needing to understand a different era, what was happening then etc. But I think you are talking more about how you engage with the world and what you like and dislike.

I forgot to say, re the gold pants photos - one thing I DO agree with is the comments you made about his face. I have posted my fair share of photos on this thread but quite often I can't take my eyes off his face. Sometimes I've posted a 'Gold Pants' worthy photo and my eyes are glued to his face, not noticing anything else, lol. The HIStory shows are not my jam (I'm a BWT 1987 girl) but his face ... omg! The intensity! And he looks so manly! And fierce! His eyes just burn! 😲
