Paris Jackson has announced she's engaged to bandmate Justin Long.

The model, 26, revealed she is set to marry the music producer in an Instagram post on Friday, sharing a sweet snap of the proposal and a montage of their time together.

Paris, who is the daughter of the late Michael Jackson, posted the news while paying tribute to Justin - nicknamed Blue - on his birthday.
She wrote: 'Happy birthday my sweet blue. doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and i couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. thank you for letting me be yours. i love you. [sic]'

While she did not specify when or where Justin popped the question, she has been spotted wearing the ring back in September. The couple are believed to have started dating in 2022

Paris Jackson’s engagement ring embodies all of her philosophies.

The 26-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson confirmed her engagement to music producer Justin Long last week, posting a series of sweet proposal photos among a birthday tribute to her fiancé and flaunting her new sparkler.

The dazzling diamond is actually a lab-grown stone, keeping true to Jackson’s sustainable spirit.

While it’s portrait cut and lower price point certainly make the diamond an unusual choice, the rock holds some pedigree of note: Jackson tapped lab-grown diamond aficionado Jean Dousset — the great-great-grandson of Cartier founder Louis Cartierhttps://jeandousset.com/?utm_source...=21181&utm_content=8-12864&clickId=4943671124 — for the bling.

Dousset is responsible for other high-profile engagement rings, including family friend Paris Hilton’s multi-millon dollar mega-sparkler, and he took time to weave significant details into the design specifically for the model.

The jewelry designer tells us that it took one month to create Jackson’s ring and that he incorporated references to the number seven — a significant figure to her, Long revealed — into the shape of the band and number of diamonds placed in various areas of the setting.

Dousset also revealed that he specifically sourced the 3-carat portrait-cut center stone for Paris for it’s rarity and “understated elegance,” with the smooth glass-like style first gaining noteriety during the Renaissance.

The flat cut was often used in lockets or other jewelry to cover hidden portraits and artwork, but was replaced in popularity with more modern brilliant-cut diamonds over time.
It’s no surprise that Jackson, who has been an outspoken vegan for years, would turn to a lab-grown stone rather than natural diamond.

She’s put her name and likeness behind tons of sustainable fashion endeavors, including covering her 80 tattoos with Cover Fx products for the 2024 Grammys earlier this year to promote the vegan makeup brand.

Jackson has also long been a face of noted environmentalist Stella McCartney, previously modeling the fashion designer’s mushroom-based alternative leather creations.

While Long worked with Dousset to customize his own design, the company offers customers a chance to pair the perfect setting with a hand-picked diamond.

The company’s similar styles include 3-carat stones in an emerald shape for around $6,000, with the pavé setting adding an additional $2,000 — and customizations, like the more rare portrait cut, send the price higher.

Long and Jackson have been dating for nearly two years, though it’s unclear when exactly the former popped the question. The “Let Down” singer first sparked engagement rumors in September, when she turned up to Nina Ricci’s Paris Fashion Week runway show — in white, no less — wearing the same ring on her left hand.

We’re sure the couple’s wedding will be wildly bohemian — and environmentally friendly.

Experts tell Page Six Style that it’s likely an eight-carat stone, set on a pavé band similar to the one below:

last night, january 3rd...... i shared a joyous evening with paris jackson and justin long....(who proposed to her last month).for the past two years, i never posted a photo of them together or revealed the fact they have been sharing their lives in a loving relationship.i shared dozens of nights with them but always respected their privacy.they wanted to share the 'happy news' in their own way at their own time....and did. (via instagram on justin's birthday).he is a stand up decent, talented, hard working, contemplative man who treats paris as the princess she is.all women should accept nothing less.as you can see, we do have a great time in each others company.and as the night was winding down, justin took a photo of paris and i simply being in the moment...... in a place of trust where words do not travel.
