Everybody Just Stop Trippin!
Some of my first memories of Michael are listening to Dangerous and History on cd along with Bad. We’ve already gotten an anniversary for Bad but nothing for Dangerous or History. This year marks History’s 30th anniversary and I’ve not heard any discussion of it. This album is a piece of literal history because it pushed the norm and showed problems that some people disregard but are still relevant to this day, I.e bigotry and the destruction of the world, while also thoughtfully telling stories. I understand that there isn’t much that can be used from History but I’m sure many of us fans would still love to hear it. Dangerous’ 35th anniversary is next year. Dangerous has enough created to be a deluxe set like Bad25. The History set could include the greatest hits, History continued, and a third disc (second disc depending on if the greatest hits are included) containing demos and the uncensored TDCAU. It could also have On the Line. As for Dangerous, that set should include the original album and another disc with Someone Put Your Hand Out and should be full of unreleased material (leaked or not). The only thing I’m concerned about is the likelihood of all this happening. It’s a lot to ask considering the lazy actions of the estate, but I still think that there is a chance. They did say in news post on the official MJ website a while back that they are planning on celebrating the anniversaries of these albums. Just want to hear all your thoughts on this subject.
