The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Tapes with 7 (and likely more) of the songs from the Dangerous sessions that get descover last year (i'm not saying that it's the same tape) it's going in auction on Gotta Have Rock And Roll Site on Feb 19th until March 7th. These songs have already been up for auction several times, someone here should do a crowdfunding for these

(3rd time that Seven Digits is put on auction, bruh)

I don't think
Many copies are too similar, compare Shana's tape and the Seven Digits tape that was sold last year and likely came from Loren. They are the same

It definitely has to be from someone who is desperate to sell it
Tell me which tape has "Unreleased" written on it lol

This is/was also interesting:

Michael Jackson Original Compositions for Songs on Two Cassettes Titled “Piano Idea” (Frank Cascio)

2024 and that guy still wants to make money from Michael, he's really struggling financially

Anyway, Could anyone identify what year those tapes were manufactured? Maybe we could get an idea of what Era them could be

This is a cassette, lol. Shana's obessed with MJ, she could have made this copy for herself.
Sorry, I really forget the difference lol

Anyway, it doesn't really have to be Shana. I mean, any collector with that tapes could make that copy. Korgnex has more than 30 tapes from the Dangerous era, for example
I would not doubt that these tapes are in the hands of several collectors

Soooo.... Crowdfunding? 👀

Is Superfly Soul Sister a early version of Superfly Sister?
Do you think All the truth you need and Call it Off are duets?

What’s the exact origin of this supposed unreleased MJ song exactly?
These snippets seem fake, but “Revenge” is among a few unreleased titles seen on HIStory era cassette tapes. If I’m not mistaken, somebody credible once said that it’s little more than an instrumental.

Now that I memorized the Tomboy instrumental, it's fire, it's so mid 80's, that shit is stuck in my head. Idk what Zapp and Roger modified in the instrumental. Or if they didn't touch anything but yeah.

I heard a similaire Instrumental of Tomboy it exist 2 versions in the office one that is unfinised Demo it sounds like a Mix of Captain EO and Remember The Time and one just like Stop That but more like a Early Version so i assume the Theory of the Multitrack that Michael send it to Roger is in fact correct

You’ve heard it?
Yes, MJ gave the Multitracks of the song to Roger Troutman. I believe it's the same beat or something similar, it's the song "stop that" released in 89. you can hear one clear "hee-hee" in the song. It does have a lil captain EO vibe. We should ask the guy who heard to tomboy to compare both instrumentals

I don’t remember. I heard Tomboy once, on a cassette, at the US Copyright office, 9 years ago. My notes say: synth drums, bass, guitar riff, very nice strings, similar sounds to Captain EO at times, similar instrumental melody line to “I bet you remember”

Sorry I can’t give more details. When you hear something once, almost a decade ago, and all you have is limited handwritten notes about it, it’s impossible to draw a proper comparison. I have no further notes.

Oh, one other note: “No lyrics/vocals” on the version I heard. The version I heard was sent to the copyright office on October 28, 1985
