hahahaha! Exactly. There are a lot of wild stories of train chaos and failure in Germany. One of my fave just a couple of years ago (aka in this century):
Waiting in a local train, it was supposed to just leave ... then we were told by train staff (I am paraphrasing) WE HAVE A TECHNICAL PROBLEM AND ARE CURRENTLY WAITING FOR A TELEFAX TO ARRIVE SO WE CAN FIX THE PROBLEM 🤣 ... of course it proceeded to be chaotic and I think we had to change trains eventually.

Wow, Germany is such a highly developed country 😂.

My fav so far was: I just got into the ICE, it was on time. Train still waiting in the station. Then they said "we have some blood on the outside of the train, apparently we hit something. Now we have to wait for the police to examine it". Well, it took like 45 minutes despite the fact there is police directly at the train station... in the end they hit a rabbit earlier (R.I.P.) and we were good to go. Just 45mins too late 🫠.

Somebody needs to create What's your funniest or scariest transportation stories thread. I actually have a few. And I would love to hear from others.
 
I can't explain how or why, but almost 20 years ago, a news article about a crime started triggering me to feel sad inside. I struggle with it, because I try to stay up-to-date with what's going on. I try to help myself by looking for positive news, and it helps a little, but the pain is still there. I know life isn't supposed to be all sunshine and rainbows. And yet, I'm sensitive to all the bad to the point where the pain lingers for days.

I don't know if I mentioned this already, but I'm chronically depressed and I recently been diagnosed as having a type of autism. I do the best I can dealing with my mental health. Still, it's a day-to-day trial to keep going and take it on one day at a time.

I hope you have therapy and maybe medication? It's very hard to get therapy (at least in Germany) or even to have enough energy to try to get a therapist. But I hope you do and will be better in the future by learning how to cope with everything 💐
 
I felt a little embarrassed today because I was in the changing room at the gym and I will NEVERRR learn that lip syncing and moving to the music coming out of your noice cancelling earbuds is something you shouldn't do in public. Not while working out, not in the changing room, no, no, nooo :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, I take a few pills daily, and I see a therapist once a month. Both help significantly. Without them, especially my meds, I'd feel a lot worse. Right now, I'm kinda okay emotionally.

In a few days, I should be more okay. That is, unless I hear about something else that's bad. Lol

I didn't know it was hard to get a therapist over there.

Glad to read that you have some help. I am sure you already do that, but try to focus on good things and be kind to yourself 😊.

The situation here is, that there are two kinds of therapists. You can pay with your own money, that is called "private" or you can choose a therapist that your health insurance will pay for. Everyone here pays a lot of money every month for this insurance (mandatory), so of course you want the second kind of therapist. But there are so few that most of the time they don't even put you on a waiting list. There is also just a limited amount of therapists that are allowed to be payed by health insurances, all the others are private and very expensive. Hope that will change in the future...we need to pay more attention to psychological issues.
 
I was walking in a hallway and tried to give this guy, who is a friend of mine, a fist bump and rejected and said "Who are you?" and walked away. I couldn't tell if he was joking or not. But I know when the next time I see him and he tries to talk to me, I'm going to say, "Sorry, I don't know you" and walk away just like he did.

Made me feel stupid.

Wow. I didn't know it was that hard to find therapists over there. I too hope all that will change one day soon.

I feel glad that I found this forum. The last weeks I had to think a lot about Michael and what he means to me and how it is impossible to describe this to people that don't feel the same way.

I know that it's kinda silly because how can someone mean so much to you if you haven't met him in person. I guess that is the main reason why people don't understand and I can't blame them, of course.

But I remember when I was a kid, I saw Ghosts and I immediately felt such a connection just by looking him in the eyes. Ghosts also summarises very well who Michael is, I think. I didn't see any interviews or anything back then because I was just 5/6 years old. But I just felt that connection and still do. And I am very happy that I don't have to explain this here in the forum.

So even if it's just online and a lot of us live on different continents I am happy to be here.

Sorry for the long text, had to get it off my mind 🙃.
 
Torn between having a lot of fun and laughter and being angry and sad at the moment...but I am learning to express my feelings more and I guess that's better than the last weeks that have been very...grey? :unsure:
 
Just booked a flight, I am going to see a friend of mine again, haven't seen her in 6/7(?) years, because she is from Russia and went back there again after school. We were very good friends back then and I am very happy we stayed in contact and will meet again soon ☀️
