Controversial MJ Documentary Leaving Neverland [GENERAL DISCUSSION THREAD]

Airs today in the UK and I’m not even biased when I say this but the coverage has been nowhere near the first one

Plus a few bad reviews questioning the point of it. Will be interesting to see the viewership numbers

It's being talked about on main TV channel Dan Reed on the Lorraine Kelly show she's saying it's compelling viewing she clearly believes them it s a very popular show and she's showing nothing but sympathy for them
 
the coverage is not nearly as big because there’s nothing new to discuss. We feared the original 2019 show and rightly so but this time around it will be forgotten about in a few days.

What bothers me most is that amongst all of the incredible musical moments in Michael’s career, they get pushed aside due to these allegations.

There are a lot of people who truly believe he was an evil abuser and that will never leave his legacy. He’s been dead 15 years already and these allegations still hang over him.

I saw it at the time of the trial, where the media was putting him as guilty, humiliating him, making ridiculous jokes. When he was acquitted, they went crazy, because they wanted and would profit a lot from his sentence. The media doesn't accept that he is bigger than music itself, look at the records he has been achieving even though he is not among us.[/COLOR]

...and? Do you want to believe it as well or something?

Lorraine was taken to the press compliance comission before and had a Twitter account mocking how little she's on her own show.

No I don't I was just sharing what was on TV when I switched on sometimes feels like you can't speak I found the whole thing pathetic reed wasn't even questioned it was just yeah he's guilty he can't handle being questioned, she was totally on his side that's all I was saying

Pay no attention pal. I got a similar response from another poster after simply commenting that part 1 and two were on tv the other night and I ended up watching a few mins of it.

The response - nobody is forcing you to watch it 🙄
 
Haven't seen it fully nor do I want to, but saw some footage of the end.
This man Wade Robson was blabbering on about "It is my time, I am ready for the court" whilst playing basketball, the last shot is of him doing a dramatic shot with it landing in the hoop.
This is NOT a documentary, this is some cheesy basketball 2000s movie where Wade is acting like he's going to make it pro, this whole ****** series Dan Reed has created is just purely laughable

Jesus, Wade you need to take some acting lessons.
This was the equivalent to Disney making a quick shitty sequel for a cash grab, but the issue is their first movie was also shit, so everyone is wondering why the **** was this made?

Haven't watched either of them, but the media are so anti mj, and you can see they struggle to admit inaccurates but this follow up forces 3* max it's almost like WTF we can't back down now

In 2019 he said he believed Michael Jackson molested Wade and James and that MJ was lying and manipulating him when he claimed to be a heterosexual male interested in adult females. Seems like a big change if he's now defending him...

Interested in the TV numbers for this, the Channel 4 Youtube upload about an hour in only had a thousand views with all positive MJ comments, the Twitter hashtag was very very small (interestingly, a lot of genuine victims saying how fake they look)

I was very interested in this because for years we've known about LN 2 and thought it could've been huge. It's seemingly been smaller than I'd have even hoped. I notice Reed is now calling it a 'stepping stone'. Tragic.

Isn't a central argument of all the guilters that he was exclusively into prepubescent boys? Obviously, that falls apart when JS had to change his story to him being abused until he was 16 in order to make his train station story possible. Also, this is the 1st I'm hearing of a girl. Does Jane Doe = a member of the Cascio family?
 
An idea... If you don't want to give it views, press "Pause" as soon as you land on the YouTube page of the documentary, and then post a supporting comment for MJ. Of course, only if you want! It just looks better when the vast majority of the comments are pro-MJ.

YouTube is, in a way, the greatest "TV" platform. It's free to upload there, anybody can upload there, and the video can be seen by everybody worldwide! It's not traditional TV, but its reach can be pretty big. And unlike TV, the YouTube upload is always available for streaming 24/7!

Reportedly, ROBson & SafeCHECK regurgitate the same dirty lies in this hit piece; Michael loved, according to them, to lick their nipples, unload on them, give them a blowjob while they slept, etc. And many people read these atrocities and believe it all, and if we dare to deny this, we are "fans blinded by the image of an idol."

she was a 12 year old tomboy 🙄. It makes no difference to me and yes totally contradicts the whole MJ into boys alone.

Not sure if it is a member of the Cascio family. There was talk that 10 people have accused MJ, 5 from the same family (Cascio)
