The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

What a great move it would be, if Rami Malek would have a brief cameo in the biopic
oh, I quite like this idea! It's not the most important moment in Michael's life but, if there's going to be two films, they could spare a few minutes for this. There was a nice affection between Freddie and Michael, it seems. For people who don't know much about Michael's story it would be something unexpected. And it's a legit part of Michael's story, not something being artificially shoehorned in for extra ticket sales. As if they would need that, lol. :ROFLMAO:

The Johnny Cash bits in the Bob Dylan biopic worked really well. It wasn't 100% accurate but it didn't need to be for the purposes of the story they were telling.

and Estates of MJ & FM would agree on releasing SoS as an accompanying single with Sony/Epic.
Not really bothered about this, tbh, but ... Freddie in the biopic, that could work.

Speaking of recording sessions & music vids: the snippets of MJ & Siedah of "singing" together as shown in the Bad25 documentary, it's clearly a mockup. Most likely shot for a music video that never got released. I wonder if its editing was ever completed back in the day.
Ironically enough, I had that same realization when I re-watched Bad25 just two days ago.

Just a quick note: Some German dude - IIRC also active here - is selling a fake TYLA DAT tape rn on ebay. I won't link to it.

It shows very bad character trying to rip off other MJ fans with a forgery, just saying.
This is me. Listen to it and verify its authenticity, then take your false statement back.

This is because the original version is over nine minutes long.
The waveform attached to your Ebay listing shows a period of silence between two seemingly separate tracks. The first track is quieter than the second. If the second is the song itself as we know it, then what makes up the first, if you don't mind me asking?

They're the same songs. The first recording has no dB increase. The second recording has an 8 dB increase, which leaves around 6-8 dB of headroom before the tape can no longer store information. I didn't do the original transfer. I got the tape like this recently, and since I already had a transfer of the song, I decided to sell it at a price that wouldn't tempt anyone to release it.

I must admit that I haven't cleaned the used DAT player in a while. I did the transfer to verify that the tape plays correctly.
