Still hurts to think that this version, along with "Victory" were supposed to be released alongside the "There Must Be More To Life Than This" single if the Estate wasn't a tremendous pain in the ass to work with. I doubt either of those songs will ever see the light of day now. Shame.

State of shock ?? A different version / demo ? The leaks from Thriller occured in 2002. Those tracks were considered for the 2001 special edition . In early 2000 , several projects were strike by leaks. Usher , RKelly , Nas, D'angelo etc...

Possible consideration but never on the official track list. Here is Thrillers SE track list from 01/18/2001 before being revised

I'm so tired of having discussion about authenticity of leaks, it's exhausting. AI has really muddied the water and I fear it's only going to get worse as time goes on

Hopefully the Estate release Throwing Your Life Away when the biopic comes out

50 sec came from seminar playback. 18 sec came directly from the DAT Master I believe.

Not to be a downer on this thread but I'm tired of these kinds of leaks. Someone please leak "Adore You" or something that's actually new, man. I honestly can't bring myself to care about this leak since TYLA is a song that's practically been leaking every year since 2020 but in slightly higher quality each time, I don't see what more could the song offer at this point. All the leaks this year so far have been nothing but songs we've already heard. This will likely be something I'll listen once to check if there's a new sound and then I'll forget it exists.

I hope something leaks this year that will truly be mindblowing, even if it's just a snippet or so. I've my fingers crossed for "Rocker"
