The music already exists, just listen to it. But a biopic encompasses more than just that.

I want the biopic to be a kick in the balls to all those who have his reputation on their conscience.

When it concerns Michael Jackson, I don't give a flying leap about other people's opinions.
 
Poor estate. They thought the audience was MJ fans. And they thought the biopic was a shameless chance to promote MJ's music.

They were wrong in both counts.

This is not the original take of the Estate or any of those who took part in the film making process. They originally planned to address the allegations, millions of dollars were spent specifically around the filming they did on the topic.


Regarding the comments (Not yours) making the film sound like a 'fluff' piece. While without the allegations, a huge part of Michael Jackson's life would be missing and would be a hard hit on many levels; Michaels life was complex and nothing 'fluffy' about it. There are other serious subjects that will be highlighted in the movie.

I do not agree with the "WHITEWASHING" it is a huge ISSUE and within the black community that they do this type of manouvering to spin it into washing out the COLOURS of accomplishments of HIS BLACK CULTURE because it is more POLITICALLY CORRECT for their consumers is a RACIST tactic they know it is too! They were doing this so much that magazines, books, articles etc. have been called out harshly and there is ZERO tolerance for this type of practices of the press in the african american culture period!👈

If they try to whitewash Michael's legacy in anyway this movie will not succeed in making anyone happy and will only acomplish a whole new backlash that will tarnish his life and endurance of lies and liars even more to their fuel! It will give them the ammo they need to create fresh attacks on him not the producers or directors on MICHAEL & HIS CHILDREN!

There is nothing to HIDE there is nothing to WHITEWASH Michael was innocent and had nothing to hide from! Why was it not ok for Michael to defend himself and win? Why is the struggle, the suffering and the personal sacrifices and devestating pain and how HE OVERCAME IT and BEAT THEM ALL not the narrative for THE GREATEST SURVIVAL STORY EVER TOLD???
This is exactly what the TRUTH should look like shouldn't it, but instead these people would chose to WHITEWASH him to the world without his approval or permission but hey it is only Michael Jackson right, like we did not SEE what they did in front of US ALL!
WE SEEN THEM do what they did to him without out one apology not one sorry Michael for it!!

He hid from the attacks and sickos and leeches that tried to profit off his embarassment of spreading lies and everyone that betrayed him and believed he would ever do what they lied and said he did and tried to put icing on a **** and call it a cake! Nope no way and HELL NAW!
We know everything he was too FAMOUS for his life to ever be private especially in both TRUMPED UP cases made UP of PURE LIES!
Who are they trying to hide Michael's life from ?? Think about it?? We know everything that matters he was INNOCENT!
So by the mere act of ths whitewashing makes it look 10000% like there IS SOMETHING TO HIDE!!

They need to show the world once and for all what THEY did to an innocent, angel that withstood the pain, the indignation, the disrespect, the abuse and the trauma he suffered when they were allowed to BREAK LAWS and not to mention the forced strip search and how what a truly strong person he had to be to have to enduring hear the most disgusting, vile, insane, and gortesque words and statements made up against him even God would have covered his ears, Michael was childlike and naive and to hear these things directed at him that he was FORCED TO DEFEND himself against was the ugliest part of a sick society that wanted it to be true so badly they broke laws to make it happen in the court of public opinions when they FAILED so perfectly in the courts was the sickest and still the truth about our society today.

Whatever they do they need to NARRATE THE TRUTH! Michael's pure resillience and patience alone to face lies and liars year after year day after day he stood TALL, PROUD, INNOCENT and DEFIANT against those that wanted to destroy his life so he would never again sing, create, and stop him from ever dancing again that is what they did they TRIED, BULLIED, THREATENED, TARGETTED, DISCRIMINATED, CRUCIFIED against him mercilessly for decades in front of his family, children, his fans around the entire world that is THE TRUTH THAT NEEDS TO BE TOLD THAT IT WAS ALLLIES and they were WRONG and they need to show the world what his own country did to him, full view!
They never saved Michael's feelings from the cruelty and inhuman way they bullied him WHY should we protect THEM from Michael's TRUTH!
No freaking way are they going to PROTECT them by not addressing the FACTS about them ALL!
They are not protecting Michael again if they avoid talking about the very reasons that they tried to break his heart, his spirit and his legacy!

They must put the spotlight on them NOW and let them hide, let them look at what they did and the laws that were broken, the games they played and the happiness they felt in justified in doing it to an innocent naive Angel they tried to place in a CAGE!
They sould no longer sit in the shadows, blend into the BG or in the dark because they were ALLOWED to stay comfortable in their lives after all they had done to kill his golden heart!

IT IS TIME THEY FELT THE BURNING HOT PRESSURE AND WEIGHT OF THE SPOTLIGHT OF THE TRUTH ON THEM AND THEY SHOULD HIDE THEIR FACES & FAMILIES TOO AND THEY SHOULD FEEL WHAT THAT FEELS LIKE DAILY!
KNOWING THEY WILL NEVER EVER EVER BE UNFORGIVEN, THEY NEED TO FEEL EXPOSED FOR WHAT THEY HAPPILY DID AND THEY SHOULD KNOW WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT THAT THERE IS A SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL FOR HURTING INNOCENT SOULS ON PURPOSE AND WITH MALICIOUS INTENT TO DO IT WILLINGLY!

THEY WILL NOT PASS! THEY WILL NOT GET AWAY! THEY WILL NO LONGER HAVE THE PLEASURE OF HIDING FROM WHAT THEY DID DO!
GOD SEEN EVERYTHING & EVERYONE! WHAT EACH UGLY LYING ONE OF THEM DID TO HIM WHEN NO ONES ELSE CAN!!

It seems to me as if the content of the biopic is being torn apart by various interests, primarily the commercial interests of the Estate and the record company, and the personal interests of the accusers. This suspicion is supported by the fact that Mick Jagger is suddenly part of the biopic, even though he was only a peripheral figure in Michael's life, and that the accusations are no longer supposed to appear. This creates a distorted image of Michael's life that no longer bears much relation to reality.

And as the icing on the cake, there's still a song missing from the legendary Cascio sessions.
 
At the end of the day people want to hear & see the music. Part one should address the highs along with some of Michael’s darker moments (drug use etc). The allegations/post 2000’s can be left for part two in my opinion.

The audience will surely learn how Michael became a legend. The film will succeed in doing so.
Part 2 could then be called “Price of Fame”.
 
Another opportunity for the estate to cash-in on “celebrating the magic” and “dancing in the isles”!
Just tell the man’s god damn story and what was done to him! Sick to death of the corruption and vested interests in an endless stream of bloodsuckers!

I hope I’m wrong! I REALLY hope I’m wrong! Because if this is a whitewashing fluff piece instructing us to “celebrate the man and the music” with no real context to the way he was tortured, then I don’t want to know. This is an opportunity for redemption and for the world to see the blatant miscarriage of justice and the crimes committed against this man.

For those of us who’ve lived through it with MJ in real-time, you know what I mean.

I disagree. Look at the Cascios starting their BS. It will never end until the first allegations are thoroughly debunked in the public's mind. The new copycats are only doing what they're doing because they saw the chandlers got away with it with no consequences.

I still have hope that these stories are not true and the Estate and Graham did not give up on exposing the truth.

Maybe they are trying to throw the media off so they won't launch an attack on the movie before it comes out.

I hope Roger Freidman is wrong on this one.
This is a major platform...not addressing the allegations is squandering opportunities to rehabilitate his image tarnished by the court of public opinion , poisoned by the media.
And here is me getting hopes high up to release this even before the Robson and Safechuck court dates

Furthermore it's not to be forgotten, that Friedman was or still could be in with the CHASHIOS..
He promoted the cashio trax like his life depended on it.

So why do we put ANY stock in his scribbling?

Deadline says it'll be two movies.
Campea (The John Campea Show) says it will be two movies. Though I don't believe for one second his take that the first movie will end in 1979.

Yeah, he is not a reliable source, at all.
 
No official press release. Not from the estate. Not from the studio producing the movie.

And that's the sad part. They told exhibitors at cinemacon in LV that there will be an announcement/update in the "coming weeks".
Nvmnd that cinemacon was at the end of march...
 
LOL Roger Friedman, who i met multiple times at the Cannes Film Festival is full of shit. This is the guy who came out saying that the Cascio trakcs were real well before ‘Michael’ (the album) was released. If any of you think that Roger has any contacts inside the estate, Lionsgate or from Fuqua, ya’ll tripping. This is a guy who has about a 30% success rate on the rumors he spreads. Anyone who remembers him from 2000-2009 knows this. Relax. Friedman is a loser
 
So it turns out the biopic isn't actually going to be a biopic.

Nobody is going to take it seriously, and all it's going to do is harm his reputation.

Especially after Branca was talking about how it wouldn't be a fluff piece etc.
