Horrid sound quality ruins most of T40 for me unfortunately. I still listen to The Toy, though.

Ngl the title “The Toy” is so out of context. Like “I am your toy, I am your boy,” just sounds like Michael is a slave (exaggerated) to the girl he’s singing about lolHorrid sound quality ruins most of T40 for me unfortunately. I still listen to The Toy, though.
Tbf, the song was specifically written for the movie of same name.Ngl the title “The Toy” is so out of context. Like “I am your toy, I am your boy,” just sounds like Michael is a slave (exaggerated) to the girl he’s singing about lol
What ruins the listening pleasure for me are the way too loud drums & its on purpose earlier fade out.Horrid sound quality ruins most of T40 for me unfortunately. I still listen to The Toy, though.
Which doesn’t make sense cus isn’t that movie a comedy and not a love movie?Tbf, the song was specifically written for the movie of same name.
The Toy isn't supposed to be a love song.Which doesn’t make sense cus isn’t that movie a comedy and not a love movie?
An underemployed reporter finds himself literally purchased as a toy for a rich spoiled brat. On one of his bratty son Eric's annual visits, the plutocrat U.S. Bates takes him to his department store and offers him anything in it as a gift. Eric chooses a black janitor who has made him laugh with his antics. At first the man suffers many indignities as Eric's "toy," but gradually teaches the lonely boy what it is like to have and to be a friend.
I think What a Lovely Way To Go sounds very special and I would be interested to know what the song means.^^ It's kinda ironic that we don't talk much about the new tracks on T40
The entire song feels like the best song to listen to while high on an acid tripI think What a Lovely Way To Go sounds very special and I would be interested to know what the song means.
It was the only song on T40 that was genuinely new. Hopefully Bad 40 will have more for us.Who Do You Know was the only standout on T40 for me, but I've not gone back to any of those songs for a long time honestly.
I hope so.Hopefully Bad 40 will have more for us.
nah that's realSome AI models like Suno and Udio are really good at making extended versions of songs, to me this sounds just like something one of those two would've made
I'd even accept a release consisting of only all 9 album tracks in their "pre Quincy" state without any additional "new" songs.i wish for a "hayvenhurst sessions" album of a bunch of the early bad tracks like Turning Me Off, Neverland Landing, Cheater and all the other ones, would have such a unique sound.
I mean, they didn't really respond to Chicago 1945 leaking if I remember correctly, right ? And I feel it's one of those tracks that would bother them the most that it leaked.Question btw, if there’s one song that theoretically leaked that would make the estate actually respond to it, what would it be, if any?
Do y'all have any more leaks?

You're right, I forgot about MiB.Man In Black, Get Your Weight Off Of Me, Deep In The Night, TYLA 2010, All full songs that have leaked after C1945 and Dream Away.
It seems to be real. Apparently it's a remix Paul Anka made for his 2013 duets album.Guys please answer mj dont matter to me snippet real ? Or AI
ThanksIt seems to be real. Apparently it's a remix Paul Anka made for his 2014 solo album.
Who Do You Know and Lovin' You are the only songs that I go back to. The best of the unreleased stuff we have been given so far, IMO.“The Toy” is alright, nothing special. “Best of Joy” set the bar too high for me.
“What a Lovely Way to Go” is very mediocre imo. I relisten to it every now and again to see if my opinion shifts and it hasn’t yet. Not bad I suppose, but boring.
“Who Do You Know” is outstanding. Genuinely one of my favorite unreleased MJ tunes. Simple, stunning.
Also a huge fan of “Loving You.” MJ’s mid tempo stuff tends to stick out to me because he’s just extraordinary at capturing a vibe. It’s so effortlessly smooth.Who Do You Know and Lovin' You are the only songs that I go back to. The best of the unreleased stuff we have been given so far, IMO.
