The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

allegedly a 2010 remix of Red Eye was also uploaded on that deleted channel. Anyone's heard that?

Я слушаю перкуссию Innocent Man, и мне кажется, что в ней используется хлопок перед слэмом во вступлении к Jam для малого барабана. Потрясающе!
you're right :))

I've been scrolling through Damien's old tweets. Seems like Boy No could have been originated in the 70s as a part of a collection of songs/song ideas for a never realised concept album.

I don't really know, but it's true that thematically it fits perfectly with the kind of songs Michael was writing and recording for Destiny... more introspective, just like many of the tracks mentioned in the 1993 deposition (based on the titles).

What a Lovely Way to Go, Little Susie, titles like Thank You for Life, etc...

I think it might just be a coincidence. Still, it would be nice to know more about it.

What exactly is great?

More teases, more low quality snippets ?
More posing?
More: „Look what I‘ve got. And you don’t!“

It’s disgusting really. That’s what it is..
Yeah you've really got to be some type of fiend to have your mind blown by a couple of seconds of garbled music.

Then you got all the scammers making fake snippets, so there's hundreds of 5 second clips out there which leads to hundreds of "is this real or fake?" posts. It's all so ridiculous

With the (edited) songs from these newer snippets, you might already have a new album together. Just a tip for the Estate.
album title: Rocker
lead single: Boy No

1. Thank Heaven
2. Boy No
3. Neverland Landing
4. Light the Way
5. Rocker
6. Remember What I Told You
7. Dark Lady
8. Adore You

The first album ever to feature fewer than 30 words!

No disrespect, but this album would be horrible lmao. No theme, no genre consistency, no flow.

But it’s these exact titles (other than Neverland) that led the Estate/Sony to purchase the Cascio tracks.

It gives some context to their decision making knowing that what we have now heard is pretty much all these songs have to offer vocally. They already had to cobble together scraps of vocals for Hold My Hand to make MJ’s role seem bigger than it was, but It’d be near impossible to release most of these in a commercial setting.

I think incompetence and greed led the estate to purchase the cascio tracks.

true
forget my idea

We all listened to the faking Michael podcast. They were incompetent and basically scrambled to put something out rather than taking their time.

There was plenty of material with vocals to release at that time.

Then when they bought fake tracks they decided that money was spent so they still needed to be released, MJ be damned.

Their thought process and decision making is quite clear indeed.

What I gathered from Faking Michael was that the Estate were initially conned by Cascio/Porte like the rest of us, and their incompetence/greed came after the fact. They had no real reason not to believe Eddie was telling the truth.

Imagine already having heard the songs Monster and Water, determining them to not be vocally complete enough to put on the album, and then one of Michael’s closest friends comes to you and says that they were completed at his home studio and that he will sell them to you.

The incompetent part is that they purchased the songs without having listened to them first, but again there was no reason not to believe Eddie

What they did was unforgivable. They had multiple opportunities to come clean and right their mistake but they lied and gaslit people at every opportunity. They disrespected MJ in the most serious terms and alienated the entire fan community beyond repair. This is why all of their projects are now aimed at the general consumer. There's no coming back from that. It's a real shame.

One thing I love about Michael's songwriting is he was capable of writing autobiographical songs, that felt deeply personal to him but they still feel relatable

Boy No has that sort of SIM and DIG vibe like everyone else has said. I can't stop playing it
