The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Does that song have a title? Only bit of info we ever got on it is that it was one of the first songs made for "Invincible". Maybe it's "Bio"?
I‘m not at home rn so I will check later, I have some distant memory of the title „Blue Powder“ or something when I listen to it idk? I‘ll send it here once I‘m home. It‘s just an instrumental and no vocals were sung by Michael

Wait, iirc wasn't Blue Powder basically a meme track? Like, something Michael Prince made as a joke together with one of Mike's drivers, who wanted to show him a track he'd made just for fun?

Like what even is “Blue Powder”? Is it cocaine?

Which on you liked most dream away or neverland landing
Like NetflexKing said, it’s hard to judge “Neverland Landing” on a brief snippet, but based on what I’ve heard thus far, it’s a little too Disney for my personal liking. I’d still love to hear it, but I’m less inclined than I was. “Dream Away,” on the other hand, is just stunning to me.

Neverland Landing is one of the few tracks that actually matched the expectations I had in mind, even if it's just a 4 sec snippet.

I always pictured something kind of Disney-esque, it always reminded me of the Disney medley Michael performed at Disneyland, and I'd say it really captures that same mood:

What's crazy to me is that the version we're hearing probably isn't even the one intended for the Peter Pan movie, assuming what we hear is the same version registered at the Copyright Office which has Brad Buxer credited as a contributor. If so, then it's most definitely a rework made sometime after 1989.

And also, I always imagined the song sounding like "Seeing Voices" (I guess that's the song people described as sounding the closest to?) but so far I hear no similarities whatsoever lol.

Definitely. Also gives me a bit of "Fly away" or "Free" vibes.

It's very Disney-esque. Full vocals and lyrics. "Welcome to Neverland"

speaking of Neverland Landing, it's probably too short to judge but would y'all say it's the 1983 vocals or 2000s? (it was registered in 2010 with Buxer credited)

I think it's pretty hard to tell what MJ's saying during the verses on this leak of TYLA under all that reverb. Certainly sounds like he's saying stuff to me. Doesn't sound like a mumbled scratch vocal.

He's saying words but they're not making sense. I compare it to songs like Got the Hots. There's words but gibberish is also incorporated.

I'd call it a demo before anything else.

Yes I agree this could be the case. Hopefully someday we'll get a clearer version.

ah, that's what i thought. with all the 2000s leaks at once i was kinda confused about that

these "discussion of" threads get confusing on pc i posted this earlier in a completely wrong thread lmao
