Issues with Michael Jackson Shop

Hi everyone.

Its not the first time i am ordering from an Michael Jackson Shop. This time from www.shopmichaeljackson.com
The last time i think was from the old one that was available in Europe.

I have a problem, after i ordered an item, and paid with credit card.
I received the email for confirmation. They stated in the email that i will get informed if the item was shipped.
Thats now 3 weeeks ago.
I asked them already 2 times, what the status of my order is. But i dont get any response. I only get the automated email for confirmation that they received my email.

Can anyone of you, that have ordered there in the past, tell me if this is normal?
Whats your experience with the Michael Jackson Shop?

The longe it takes for their reaction, the more i think i will get betrayed and cheated by them.
 
Well, that's definitely very expensive. But I meant primarily the stuff they design themselves.

Is there someone that have ordered in this OFFICIAL Michael Jackson shop?
This is so crazy. Its the Official Shop, and the are playing such an game with the fans? They are betraying the fans?

Haven't ordered there. Have you tried the chat function? Sometimes it also helps to write in the mail that there will be legal consequences if they don't answer.

But I also think that this vinyl takes some time to ship, right? Hope you will find a solution 🤞
 
I have not placed orders(I am poor lol), much less in that store, but from what I see It looks like it's not very reliable, If they still don't respond to you, then I'm telling you that you've already been scammed💔💔

Where? i cant see the chat?
i already wrote them several times. But not about legal consequences. Cause i dont think austrian law will help in the US?
Yeah i am sure it will take a while to ship it to austria. But they wrote in the order confirmation email that they will inform me if the item was shipped. And this is now 3 weeks ago.

There's a chat symbol on the bottom right.

Just try to be a little less friendly and annoying af, always helped me so far if a shop didn't respond 💁.

Don't know if you can ask for the money back, I don't pay with credit card very often...maybe through your bank. And then just order it somewhere else, when the customer service there is so bad.

i used a different browser. ok, i used the chat. but thats just a chat bot.
the only thing i can do with this is to give them my email address and order number, and message. The same when i am contacting them with email, they tell me on the website to add the same information.
and now waiting again 2 days. thats what i get at the end of the conversation with the chat bot.
 
if it doesnt arrive i reccomend contacting your payment provider, i wish you luck

yea it takes quite a while for them to ship, contact sonymusic@mtstoresupport.com for more info on your order
 
I posted a problem with the shop back in May. I ordered the dangerous jacket and a Bad shirt. They never arrived. They take weeks to respond. So I filed a claim with my credit card company and just got my money back. Will never attempt to order from these fuckers again!

I think the first batch took a while because people pre-ordered 2 months before it was available.

But the thing is out now. No reason you shouldn't get it the next day.

hm. i am not sure if i should wait. i already paid taxes, only for exchange rate between dollar and euro. and i dont know where to get it somewhere else.
jpc.de is a disaster. i cant order tehre anymore, cause i have ended business relationship between me and them, cause of horrible conditions of damaged items they send me so many times.

Personally had never any issues with jpc, other retailers I would suggest would be HHV, Amazon or simply ordering straight from MoFi

yes. after that experience with JPC and the Official Michael Jackson shop, maybe MOFI is the better option.

Did you ordered from there? i want to know how much taxes i have to pay. i only see in the order progress that i have to pay 31 Dollar shipping costs. Thats so expensive.

On their website in the FAQs...
What is your policy for international orders duty fees?
The buyer is responsible for any and all duty fees. We will not alter the order value for duty purposes.

I only bought from jpc and the MJ store for MoFi releases so far, MoFi was indeed a bit more expensive but that kinda cancelled it out with the price increase of their releases here in Germany, the Vinyl costs $59,99 while here in Germany it's 74,99€

if i am ordering from MOFI, with shipping costs its 91,81 Dollar to Europe = ~78 Euro + Taxes... possibly 22 euro (20% from 78 Euro + 6 Euro Import fee) = 100 Euro.

i am so annoyed by this all the last months that i thinking about to stop collecting. Especially this Limited Editons of vinyl.
i think, after getting that complete collection of MOFI releases, i wil stop, and only collecting CDs with new Songs or Mixes. i am annoyed by all these re-releases, and nothing new.
Always this disputes with record stores, extremely high taxes and shipping costs. thats so annoying.

i have send that email to sonymusic@mtstoresupport.com on Thursday, and received the reply on Monday. That was normal, and fast.
i have send many emails to sonymusic@musictoday.com, over the last weeks. without any reply until today. now they also replied...

i am waiting what they are saying about the bank taxes i already paid, if they send me an refund for this.

I thought the delivery cost from MoFi was way too ridiculous, so I went with JPC. No complaints.

I'm sure they won't bring it up. You should ask them directly when you will receive a refund.

i already asked them yesterday and today if they will also refund me this taxes.

I think it's time. Trying to charge $100 for an album is just profiteering.

And yeah, there's kinda no point in being a collector. It's only worth buying stuff you will listen to.

Personally, I would never buy vinyl, but I definitely never buy overpriced vinyl.
