He was also the one who took €8,000 from about 20 people (group funding) for the Pensacola tapes, making them believe he would send out the actual tapes afterward. But once he got the money, he said, “To be honest, this is a one-of-a-kind tape.” He didn’t even share the raw rips—just his so-called “premium” edits. When I confronted him about it, he simply said, “This is business.” Definitely the least shady person…

Funny, how this community can’t stop worshipping collectors and Discord kids.
 
Lowkey, even if I were a collector with so much material who had to gatekeep for trust reasons, I would at least drop Neverland Landing because that one is just gorgeous, we don't have many tracks like that in Michael's discography. It's finished, it sounds like a Disney song, it has a young Michael Jackson's voice on it, what more can you ask for? At least leak that one if you're not gonna leak the rest. The Estate won't care, it only makes fans happier, I really don't think this would disrespect Michael either, I feel like this song was meant for us to hear and Michael would possibly be okay with that. It's not like the other snippets that are of unfinished and unpolished art.

They shouldn't be treated as a god, but if they have unreleased songs that haven't leaked yet, ofc people are gonna be desperate.

Honestly if I had the choice to, I wouldn't wanna leak every single song, alt mix and demo at once because then after a while, what will there be to speculate and discuss about? I still think songs that have way too many snippets should leak sooner. GYWOOM probably should've leaked way earlier than it should've

Honestly atleast @GYWOOM answers questions, gives us descriptions, and recreates the songs. Idk why people hate him so much atp. Without him, many things may have never leaked

It's not a bad song but I can't say it was worth the hype. It's one of those songs that have the potential, but it needs more work, maybe a re-record in some areas.

The song is fully complete. You probably think that because of the quality of the leak. we don't have a CDQ above 320 kbps iirc

Very fair point, and just to be clear I am grateful for what he's dropped. My only issue is the psychology behind it. Not that I think he's doing this on purpose, but I will say that Korg had a point when he said that it only drives up hopeless hype. We want to hear the Michael versions of these songs and there's really nothing stopping Motif or Znop from sharing them, it's illegal but no one really faces any legal penalty for leaking songs atp. The Estate is not gonna release Water, Dark Lady, Rocker, or Adore You, they're unfinished and they don't fit any anniversary release. Neverland Landing can work with several ideas, I can even see it being in the biopic, but that's a chance and when you have a fully completed track that could've fit on something like the Michael album or Thriller 40, but you don't even touch it and you let it just collect dust over time, at that point someone might as well leak it if the Estate doesn't want to release it.
 
Just to make this clear on where I'm coming from, Michael had no issue with leaks under the circumstance they weren't something that was currently a W.I.P. He asked a fan to leak For All Time if we all remember that story, and he must've had to know about the Dangerous bonus cuts if he knew about other leaking songs too, he was very on top of things. He also didn't mind posthumous releases after death because he clearly felt unbothered using Biggie vocals on a track after his death and even allegedly put 100 unreleased songs in his kid's inheritance just three months before he died. He can't work on these songs anymore, I can see him being bothered about something rather unfinished since he was a perfectionist, but Neverland Landing was a song that was finished, polished, and was supposed to be released until the Peter Pan musical was scrapped, and he continued to work on it in the 2000s too so its clear he wanted it out there at some point. That's why I think it deserves to be properly leaked, it doesn't go against what we've seen of his views and the song just feels very him. I mean would Michael be okay with people baiting fans with snippets and teasing them for ultimately nothing? Even if thats not the intention and we got a whole bunch of new information on the tracks, it still looks like that.

This only applies to the ones in this thread that post like teenagers. They somehow think that their "inside knowledge" is impressive, yet the vast majority of users on this forum dislike them because of how immature and annoying they are.
