go to 2:29 lol. This is so strange the full song has surfaced now but it is under a different name and this channel is certainly not a reliable source. It is 100% the same piece of music though. I've never heard nor I've never met anyone who's heard either track to my knowledge does anyone on this forum know "Brad Loop" or "Silent Spring" or alternatively does anyone recognize the track that appears in the video?

Damien is really the only one who can confirm if it's real or not, he heard the song but all he's ever said was that it's an instrumental.
 
I think every time something leaks we all try to cope by pretending we like it, we force ourselves to enjoy it somehow.

Let's be real, you can appreciate the experimental idea, but it hurts my ears to listen to it in this state. The bridge is cool, sure, but the rest is just the same tune looping all the way through, and it gets annoyingly painful really fast. I can't imagine listening to it with headphones, it feels like you're getting electrocuted and your brain is about to blow up. The filtering on the leak doesn't help either.

yeah i personally think the song is ass but i like the bridge and some general ideas, probably the worst Bad era track we've heard imo

probably yeah. I doubt its legit but it is interesting the full version of this mysterious snippet from several years ago just suddenly appeared with nearly nobody noticing

Nice to hear the song but I don't have to hear it again and I can see why it was abandoned.

I think people are just excited to hear something new, there's definitely some novelty bias at play here. I don't like the song myself but I still share that same excitement to a degree, we are all just content starved really lol. I expect to see people switch on the song as time goes on, it's exactly how it went for GYWOOM.

That wouldn’t really be the case though if Michael’s unreleased work wasn’t thought of as “content”

When people say Turnin’ Me Off or GYWOM aren’t very good, it’s like looking at a sketch by Picasso and saying: “I don’t like it because it’s not Guernica” - like yeah no shit it’s not good, Michael didn’t think so either

Turnin’ Me Off is probably quite a good indication of the quality of songs remaining from the Bad sessions (including Buffalo Bill, which I’m now convinced Michael was a bit overexcited about having just written it)
 
Yeah, echoing the sentiments really. It's always a treat to hear what they were experimenting with, but as with any experiments some are going to be poor and some great. Doubt I'll play it again.
 
Define "great song". It's a catchy tune, I love his vocals, especially the rough background-vocals, I'm in a good mood while listening to it.

It's not a finished song, so I am aware it doesn't have "Billie Jean" quality and I am sure over the years I won't be listening to it too often. But for what it is, I love it 🤷.

It's like when you are starving for food and you get served something you really don't like but you eat it anyways because you're so hungry. And you try to convince yourself that it actually doesn't taste so bad.

I am sorry but comparing GYWOOM to Turnin' Me Off is utterly insane.

Gywoom is actually finished, and might just be in the same level as some tracks that did end up on Invincible (the bar isn't very high, but still.)

Turnin' Me Off is no more than a rough idea, a concept, not even meant to be listened to, clearly.

Worst Bad "song" if you can even call it that, I wouldn't, because it's nowhere near anything we've ever heard from the Bad sessions
