Thanks for sharing this. Seeing Price Of Fame included in the list of songs that were not only listed as, finished, mixed and sent to Quincy, but crucially made the album, gives me hope that there is a finished version of Price Of Fame we haven't heard.

I like POF but it sounds dated to me. If I had to place it anywhere, I’d put it before Speed Demon but I think it was the right choice to discard it

It could've taken the place of JGF. If it made the album, it would've been perfect in the middle making a statement about the megastardom Michael achieved after Thriller became a big hit. Pretty sure there's a Bruce and Quincy version of that one as well.

All the unreleased duets from Xscape:

Slave To The Rhythm Ft. Justin Bieber
Xscape Ft Lil Wayne
Hot Fun (In The Summertime) Ft. Mary G Blige & D’Angelo

Also
Xscape X 2pac’s Changes (never considered for release)
Love Never Felt So Good (Jackie Jackson’s Remix)
actually dk if it’s considered a duet bc we don’t know if he added vocals

Funny that Sony considered 4 duets for the album and only released one

I think Price of Fame is special for that very reason. I've always said that Price of Fame seemed like the most complete unreleased song from Bad 25 and the one with the most potential, which is why he included in that unreleased commercial.
I wonder if the lyrical concept became a problem for Michael. He's basically saying, "Don't complain" in the song, but he eventually had no choice but to complain about how the media treated him. Or maybe he felt it didn't fit. I don't know, maybe there was another reason why the song and commercial were never released.

Joy, monster, H2O, Remember what I told you are my most wanted out of the circulating songs if they really are circulating. Traders please help us out this Christmas

Rodney said MJ loved hip-hop so I reckon he just wanted to incorporate a verse into the song. Wasn't there a rumor that he also did a version with a 2pac verse of xscape?
it‘s a remix, not the album instrumental but yea it exists

I’ve never interpreted the lyrics as Michael himself saying “don’t complain”, but rather the ‘father’ character (whether that be Joseph or God) telling Michael to accept the fact that his success and fame has its consequences.

You’re right though that it’s a song Michael would’ve related less and less to as time went on. Michael accepting that the things he goes through simply ‘come with the territory’ doesn’t ring true after a certain point

Yes, good point! I guess the "don't complain" part was the father figure speaking. Nevertheless, I do like the concept behind the song. I think it's one of the strongest on Bad 25.

Once again you have removed misinformation that was being cleared up. So I’ll say it again….

Seasonings was a joke started by Korgnex to troll people.

There is no track called Seasonings, he just started calling “Changes” it randomly.

I miss BeanoWild.

If you want to clear misinformation up do it without trying to provoke other members into arguments. It's very simple. I'm not gonna argue with you about your right to troll on here.

He was not talking about any factual info where we can criticize him for being wrong: it was his opinion in retrospect that the song didn't work. I agree, it's not a good composition.
It isn't very special I agree but the fact that it's a duet with a famous singer (like TGIM) and it's Stevie Wonder; one of Michael's heroes, makes up a lot. I can't think of anything that would be better, even if it's a 'filler'

We could've had the track if the estate contacted John. John said he would've been on board to help finish it if they wold have called him
Bruce Swedien has mentioned Buffalo Bill before. For Bruce to hear it, I feel like the track was basically finished and Bruce made a mix for it on Victory.
