I agree it is a good sound but I do think it was overused quite a bit

A very similar/same guitar riff/hook in multiple songs that seems to have originated in Streetwalker (86, 87, and 88)

Changing the lyric from "I Am The Loser" to "I Was The Loser" doesn't really make sense to the rest of the lyrics (to me).

I'd like to think that had he gone on to make another album, this would have been left in the vault. It's really not great, regardless of the version. Never took to it.

Tame Imapala made a better song about being a loser

I always find it interesting when he reused random stuff for new songs. Like how Morphine, Ghosts, and Hollywood all have similar descending strings. Or how Bad reuses a line from Sunset Driver. Is it scary sharing a line with Ghosts. The list goes on.
