Cardiff 1992 seems to be quite unique

A dead give away is the crowd on all of these “never before seen” pictures. I wish I could upload my analysis but in all of those pictures the crowd is always blurred out, like some kind of blurry effect. In real pictures taken from the same angles, you can always make out the human shapes, faces, sizes etc, even if the picture is low res.
Would be great if you managed to! I’m curious.

So these are three “never before seen” pictures and I want you to look at the crowd. Do you see something in common? All these pictures have this blurry effect on the crowd where you cannot, (and sometimes barely), make out the human shapes such as face, outline, sizes etc.

Now look at these. These are verified pictures that have been available for ages. All from similar angles. If you zoom in, you can clearly make out individuals from the crowd. Even if you look at the low res quality Gothenburg picture. The detail is still there.

Now take a look at this “new” picture from the Munich 92 rehearsal. Mind you, you can already tell that something is off with his fingers and even the fabric of his shirt. Again, the background is blurred out.

Now take a look at a real picture from that same rehearsal from a similar angle. The detail is there.

I can accept that effect for a couple of pictures because it’s a common thing that many photographers do, but for almost all these new pictures? Come on, that’s something fishy.

As a bonus, one of the accounts that has been pushing these “new photos” (and has disappeared btw) was trying to sell this picture as an authentic backstage victory tour photo lol.

A comment on these photos that MJJ.Peru is posting. Some people think they are made with AI, but that is only partly true. The photos are real, but they are in low resolution and are being ‘restored’ with AI. The result is quite good on the faces (even though there are no visible pores, hair, or real skin imperfections), but in other areas, it can produce some awkward artifacts that observant viewers have noticed as signs of trickery. This would be a good example. I have superimposed the actual belt over the “restored” one.

^ This was pointed out at MJHideOut not long ago.

That may be true for the already released pictures but not for the other pictures such as that Victory Tour backstage photo. I’m all for new pictures getting released, that’s not the point. It’s purposefully misleading and lying to people using someone else’s likeness. It’s wrong on so many levels and we as MJ fans need to be able to pick these apart because they may come a time when the only way to differentiate a real photo from a fake ai one may be to focus on the small details and the red herrings. And god knows what kind of schemes and lies people will try.

To be honest, you're fighting a losing battle. Technology is improving every day, within about one year it WILL be impossible to tell the difference between real and AI.

You've basically got to assume everything is fake.

Good point, which is why it’s important to stay extra vigilant.
