That's written by Michael. Could've been for Off the Wall thoughThere's "You told me your Lovin'", a song written by Randy and registered with the brothers publishing company PEACOCK in 1979.

There're two entries with same title. One version is registered with Mijac and lists Michael as its writter; the other Randy & Peacock. That's written by Michael. Could've been for Off the Wall though
He is obsessed with youIndeed... very creepy, like I said.
This might be out of the blue but could you possibly maybe send the file to Planet Earth in good quailty like the one you mixed with Earth song? that would be nice, thank you!And remember what I told you..
Outtakes:Are there any other Triumph outtakes?
Michael Jackson co-wrote the song “This Had To Be” with The Brothers Johnson. Jackson originally wrote the song in 1979 under the title “You Not Me” for The Jacksons' album Triumph. The song didn't make the cut and was given to The Brothers Johnson, who re-titled it “This Had To Be”. Jackson also provided backing vocals on the song. The song appeared on The Brothers Johnson's 1980 album Light Up the Night, which topped the R&B album charts. Quincy Jones produced the song.
Now I wonder if this was a competition between Michael and Randy using the same song title and possibly same productionThere're two entries with same title. One version is registered with Mijac and lists Michael as its writter; the other Randy & Peacock.

Slipped Away seems like it would be similar to Time Waits for No One.Outtakes:

That we haven’t heard mostlyWho Do You Know
I feel like it is as well. About letting the love of your life slip away but it’s too late for you to go backSlipped Away seems like it would be similar to Time Waits for No One.
That one could be Triumph, Thriller, and Victory.Who Do You Know
Agree. I feel like MJ made a right call not using his stuff for every album. It would’ve started to feel rote, like how every album from Thriller onward had at least one rock song. Great songs all of them, but the individuality makes it even better.Hallucinations is a cool track but I am glad the Porcaro vibes remained exclusive to Thriller era stuff. Makes Human Nature and the like much more special.
Well with the rock songs it at least has a different style and production hand to it every time so it felt different for at least Thriller through HIStory.Agree. That’s true. I guess I more mean the idea that a rock inspired song will show up regardless. Though of course the Porcaro songs are different because they’re very aesthetically similar.Well with the rock songs it at least has a different style and production hand to it every time so it felt different for at least Thriller through HIStory.
One word album titlesThat’s true. I guess I more mean the idea that a rock inspired song will show up regardless. Though of course the Porcaro songs are different because they’re very aesthetically similar.
I'll believe it when I hear it.Hey friends, please forgive me if this news is late, I just saw on an Instagram page that Ne-Yo plans to release 6 unreleased MJ songs in the future, and that the songs are complete.
Imagine the estate uses ai to put MJ’s voice on them and release them as mj songs. I wouldn’t be suprisedThey're demos that MJ had input in. There's no MJ vocals.
I find it hard to get excited about hearing them if they're gonna be remixed or changed, considering MJ only contributed ideas, and we'd have no way of knowing what they were or if they've even been used in a remixed form.
I foresee something like thisImagine the estate uses ai to put MJ’s voice on them and release them as mj songs. I wouldn’t be suprised
The worst part is that none of us see that scenario as having an absolutely zero percent chance of happening.I don’t. Can things please stop being awful?
