Song that's registered into the Library of Congress. It's likely that it was never recorded since only song lyrics are available, but since we don't have access to the Sony vault (where a majority of the MJ-Jacksons tapes are located) we'll never know.

Interesting that it was registered at the beginning of 1985. I wonder what it was intended for…..I wouldn’t say Victory because we have no exact date of when the writing took place.

People here say D.N.A. doesn't have vocals. Apparently Apocalypse Now might though.

I wonder if it’s caught up in rights issues with The Jacksons, assuming it was worked on for the album of the same name.

I still find it odd that Michael and his brothers kept the title Victory despite not including the title track
 
Did some digging and found that Somewhere In Time was recorded by Glennis Grace and released on her album Real Emotions in 1996.

However I noticed that the song is credited to Dane DeViller, Sean Hosein, and Steven Kipner:

...so it looks like this is not the Michael Jackson song. It seems Rebbie recorded a version of an identically titled song that didn't make the cut. 😂

I like 2000’s Michael more than any other Michael cause his instrumentals he used were out of this world and not only that, he had the best songs released / leaked from the 1998-2009

Thanks anyway @MissAshley, it's still interesting to hear another Rebbie track. They say talent runs in the Jackson family, girl should've kept going with her career.

Were you able to get any additional details from the person who played the track for you? Does it include full vocal tracks, for example?

Looks like someone here is referencing the lyrics. The YouTube meme upload has "Victory is in our hands" in the lyrics.

I'm guessing someone ran part of the lyrics through Suno/Udio or some other AI, changed the music but kept a few real elements in there, kinda like what happened with Rocker when it first started leaking.
