Iāve been saying this for YEARS. Would go crazy. You mean drop JGF and add Cheater [Feat. Stevie Wonder]
Same. I've always said of all the demos we've heard, Cheater would've complimented the album best.Iāve been saying this for YEARS. Would go crazy.
i really want music from the new world in lossless, it's a great album that's worth checking out imoNever hated Michael more than I do now.
He really had some shitty ass takes sometimes, not even gonna lie.
I love Music From the New World too, it's unfortunate how there's literally no lossless version of this album on the internet...
I did a quick search and didn't find anything. Link?Yo to whoever is intentionally posting fake leaks from BL X MJ (Iām sure theyāre here) and putting āRest in peace Bryanā in the description. Youāre a fuckin loser gang![]()
It would be even worse if they were posting real leaks if you think about it since Bryan was someone who had a pretty negative stance on leaks. Which is why I think it's idiotic when leakers talk about dropping leaks on a special MJ date as a form of celebration when Michael hated having his work be heard before it was ready, it's like spitting on their grave and calling it a tribute. It's quite cringey lol. If you have something to leak just leak and be done with it, hyping up a leak is ridiculous.Yo to whoever is intentionally posting fake leaks from BL X MJ (Iām sure theyāre here) and putting āRest in peace Bryanā in the description. Youāre a fuckin loser gang![]()
Yesā¦I always skip JGF so almost any outtake instead would be fine by me.Just drop Just Good Friends and add Streetwalker
Love the 1987 mix
My absolute favourite non-album track.Yesā¦I always skip JGF so almost any outtake instead would be fine by me.
I loved Streetwalker when first hearing it in 2001 and I still love it in 2026![]()
Free is the best Bad outtake actually, so Iām glad someone knows.I don't like Streetwalker or most of the Bad outtakes, aside from maybe Fly Away and Free. Just Good Friends is one of my favorites, so I'm glad that made it on.
If Sony/Epic only had kept the initial configuration of all 4 SE's. 14 "new" songs (incl. 3 rarieties YCW; SITD & SPYHO) vs. 16-track Invincible. 30 songs in total released within a two week period.Hearing Streetwalker on the same day that I got Invincible really did not help my opinion of the latter!
I did a quick search and didn't find anything. Link?
Lazy even for him.Itās TAHMJ according to @Jacksonunreleased but yeah this is what I was referring to.![]()
The instrumental is made by @kai . It's actually pretty damn good. Couple of snippets some years ago were used to make fake MJ snippets using real MJ vocals/ AI ed MJ vocals. It almost had me fooled.
Btw, has anyone noticed Michael reusing the vocal melody in Brads Loop 3.3.7 @ 1:40 "yeyeyeyeyeyeee yeyeyeyeyee", very similar to Streetwalkers background vocals "why dont you give me some time, wont you give me some time" from the intro and towards the end?
Edit. Also used in State of Shock (both version) from 3:10 and onwards.
They arent entirely the same and probably a common melody but thought I'd mention it. I later realised this isn't that worthy of a post after all, lol.
which likely means it began recording around October-December of 1990, or maybe even January 1991.Interesting; Serious Effect samples a song from a "The Vaughan Brothers" album (relased 09/25/1990).
Would love to see Bill's calender notes for this songwhich likely means it began recording around October-December of 1990, or maybe even January 1991.
alternatively the sample could've been overdubbed in at a later date.
Is Dangerous his next session calendar or was it Victory?Would love to see Bill's calender notes for this song
Ai slopified versionWait.. thatās not my instrumental..
Yeah this has been known for a while. Very cool! I believe this was added by Teddy.Interesting; Serious Effect samples from a "The Vaughan Brothers" song (released 09/25/1990).
IdkIs Dangerous his next session calendar or was it Victory?
Don't think he really made notes for anything beyond the initial Barnes/Bottrell/Jackson stuff (Make Or Break, Turnin' Me Off, and They Don't Care About Us), "Black Or White," "Earth Song," "Monkey Business," Who Is It," "Give In To Me," and "If You Don't Love Me," unless he made overdubs on some Loren tracks.Would love to see Bill's calender notes for this song
Knew Teddy added something to the track, but I didn't know what.Yeah this has been known for a while. Very cool! I believe this was added by Teddy.
Given how far along it seemed (professional document setup), it's likely the former. Is Dangerous his next session calendar or was it Victory?
Itās a very Teddy style sample, same as Ghosts.Don't think he really made notes for anything beyond the initial Barnes/Bottrell/Jackson stuff (Make Or Break, Turnin' Me Off, and They Don't Care About Us), "Black Or White," "Earth Song," "Monkey Business," Who Is It," "Give In To Me," and "If You Don't Love Me," unless he made overdubs on some Loren tracks.
