Michael obviously saw great potential in Bryan Loren and apparently continued to work with him on the sidelines later on.

As for the Dangerous outtakes, strangely enough, they're really nothing special, whereas Teddy Riley and Michael somehow surpassed themselves and their collaborations are truly top-notch and still sound timeless today.

For example, I think the song “Gigolo” by Randy with Bryan Loren is great. (It can be heard as the second song in the video.) Or Got To Be Right by Bryan Loren. Aren't these tracks even better than anything he did with Michael?

Seven Digits rounds things off nicely, of course. Even though what we hear there is only the earliest, raw version, it seems clear to me why, according to Bryan Loren's Black + White interview, it was Michael's first choice for BOTDF. In my opinion, Man In Black is also better than She Got It and Work That Body in terms of melody. (Although I love the songs, as they are unusual for Michael.)

Only Serious Effect has the potential to have made it onto an album too. But it might have needed a co-producer to lend a hand.

I don't know how the final version of 7 Digits sounds like but I think it has something special in it. The LQ snippet of the "chorus" sounds phenomenal. And I think "Don't Believe It" also has a nice melody. Hope to listen to them both soon.

- In The Back more complete version than TUC?
- Seven Digit completrd version?

And I see no reason to go crazy over 7 Digits. It’s cool but it’s basically a demo for other songs. It does sound good tho.

7 Digits on Blood would sound absolutely been there done that. Superfly Sister is incredibly unique actually.

I added the snippet to my Bryan Loren tribute at the last minute - I was told it was already out there, just not on YouTube yet. Apparently, this isn't the case, as I've read here and as some people have pointed out to me.

I agree with that. Superfly Sister is really unique and i LOVE it. Seven Digits would have fit in with Ghosts and Is It Scary, since the latter two are obviously similar, at least in part of their lyrics.

Seven Digits doesn’t seem Like a scary song though. All 5 of the songs have an anxious, scary tone to them. That’s just how I see it.

I wouldn't have thought to describe it as scary. But there is something about it. The lyrics could be understood as being about a mentally unhealthy lifestyle. But didn't someone once say that the final Seven Digits lyrics and title are a reference to war dead in morgues? That would definitely be scary.

@ueli84 have you heard the other Bryan Loren tracks which have been circulating like "Call It Off", "All The Truth", "Pressure", etc.? Are you able to describe those tracks?

And also, do you know the title of the snippets Korgnex shared recently, or at least know the era they're from? I suspect that the first track is the song "Don't Make Me Stay"

I think the issue is that “Seven Digits” sounds derivative of a handful of tracks on Dangerous, while “Superfly Sister” is unique enough to stand on its own and work within the confines of the BOTDF track listing. I like what we’ve heard, but I don’t think it would’ve worked alongside “Ghosts” and “Morphine” personally—but who knows what a finished version would’ve sounded like.

Unfortunately not, and I've never heard them either. I mean the other Loren tracks and the beats shared by Korgnex. (Which I actually really like because of their hip hop vibe.)

for In The Back, iirc it is just very slightly different. It’s been like 4-5 years since I was told about it so take this with a grain of salt I suppose since I could be misremembering details. From what I remember the later version is just a different mix and that’s the main difference, no new vocals, basically like Gloucestershire’s “more completed version”.

As for 7 Digits I’ve never heard any version in its 100% entirety but I don’t think I’ve ever heard about a “completed version”. As @michaeljackson.nl said though you could probably comp together every legible line to make a “complete vocal version”, instrumental is very clearly demo stage.
