Dolby Atmos Remixes of all albums to be released

it is there, but a lot quieter than in the original mix. The mix translates a lot better on a 7.1.4 speaker setup than on headphones where the original stereo mix is recommended either way

I am not saying it's not there. I am saying the start is missing for some reason. Also i use airpods and iphone. That's what most people will use to listen to these mixes

yes but people already got it and it was sent to me.
That would have to be the fanmade "DJRMX Dolby Atmos Mix" upmix by user "Mpsp1234" that was shared on platforms like sharemania. The official Invincible Dolby Atmos Remix hasn't been released yet.

With the iPhone's latest updates, a compressor was added that significantly reduces the audio quality on Apple Music. I would recommend using literally any other device such as iPad, MacBook, Windows etc. Comparing the officially released Atmos mix, which you can actually still listen to if you click on "Create Station" on the individual track and then skip til you got the one, I haven't noticed anything missing in the start at all, some things are lower in volume yes, but to me, nothing is missing listening on my speakers.

Regarding invincible: I hope that that! Because it was not bad but close the just the stereo mix.

Regarding the atmo device:
I have iPhone 12pro 18.7.3
Do you know if that already has the compressor ?

But I didn’t use Apple Music btw. I used the M4A files that I got.

If you ever made a softwaree update into the 26.X then yes but it‘s on Apple Music only.

Using the m4a files on phone, it is possible that only the front channels are played as the phone expects a stereo file. The m4a download is a 5.1 submix so I would just submix the 5.1 to stereo via Audtition or Logic or whatever program you use and then listen again to the stereo downmix. Don‘t forget to mute the LFE tho of course.

I did the same thing with Thriller and it sounds same as on Apple Music (I had a subscription when it was released). So I am pretty sure playing the m4a files in the files folder will give you Dolby Atmos.

I still believe there won't be better pressings than the originals. But I’m interested once these come to Spotify.

Spotify doesn't support Dolby Atmos, and neither can you listen to it as intended if you don't have a surround speaker setup

By the way, I'm mixing in Dolby Atmos myself and since I don't think this particular track will ever be officially remixed and even if them getting butchered either way, here's a snippet of a rear channel folddown of my Dolby Atmos 9.1.6 Remix of Someone In The Dark, mixed from the original tracks, that I made some time ago: https://voca.ro/18i9qaBMdiHZ

I just wanted to do a kind of apprieciation post to the incredible string composition consisting of cello, violin, harp, woodwind instruments as well as synth and french horn notes that make this song magical

(Note: vocals are of course just reverb as they are in the front channels)

I have a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos dedicated home cinema and finally got a chance to listen to the Off The Wall atmos mix. I found it to be excellent with plenty of separation which is what makes it a different listening experience to stereo. The lead vocals are very crisp and clear and if there’s a slight criticism of the overall experience it would be the the lead vocals are slightly loud in the mix. I like it though as it really does sound like he is standing front and Centre in the room, separate from the instruments on the centre channel. She’s out of my life was amazing. Get on the floor funky as hell and I can’t help it was great too. It really gives a fresh way of listening to an album I’ve listened to countless times. Going by reviews I’ve read, I imagine that the experience isn’t as good through headphones. It’s definitely become my favourite way to listen to music now. If you have a Dolby atmos system you won’t be disappointed

I only have a simple but immersive 5.1 system, and even on that, it sounded great with most songs. I do agree with DJLF, the lead vocals are a bit too loud. Hope to upgrade to 5.1.2 or even 7.1.2 eventually.

That version of the J5 Greatest Hits got a vinyl reissue a few years ago. I'm surprised it's not on digital markets

I guess they were released prematurely. Does anyone know when the Dolby Atmos mixes will be available?
