The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

She's Out Of My Life
She's Trouble
She's Not A Girl
She Got It
She's Got It Baby
She Drives Me Wild
She Was Lovin' Me
Is She Coming back
She Don't Love Me

Always found those You Were There lyrics super interesting and wondered if he recorded any of them.
well apparently he did, and the full studio version was apparently gifted to Davis. Since the performance was sung live, the vocals must be different. Not sure about production though. Idk why but this feels like something that Korgnex would've leaked in like 2016

I was talking about the lyrics found in MJ's house.

There are apparently two You Were There songs lol. the Sammy Davis one, and one from the late 2000s. Im talking about the Davis one. There is a full studio version that was recorded
Source? Buz Kohan himself said the Sammy Davis tribute was never recorded in a studio and was haphazardly written the night before it was performed.

I believe it was @Korgnex or someone like that. Otherwise I have no idea who started the rumor.

EDIT: yeah it's decidedly false, just double checked the "Making Michael" book

You guys talk so much bullshit here. Nobody knew about the songs “abortion papers” or “she was loving me,” and they already had fully completed lyrics. The estate typically releases songs that have already leaked online. No one really has any idea what, or how much fully recorded material exists in the archives.
They don't typically release songs that have already leaked online

There’s also a rewritten “you were there” from 2008/9. The lyrics talk about the world walking away from him but the fans staying. Also according to Damien it was one of the most common song titles on the lists that he saw. It’s unknown if it’s the same melody as 1989 version but I would love to hear it
I wonder if the "You Are There" registered at the Copyright Office isn't supposed to be the instrumental track to "You Were There", and if it's possible there's a version with vocals since it was just the instrumental that was submitted specifically. There are a few songs which had the instrumental registered separately for some reason and it turned out that at least some of them have vocals in some form; "Pray For Peace" for one has scratch vocals recorded over the telephone, "Think Twice" has ad-libs, and "Michael's Affirmation" is a spoken word poem.

You Are There
Pray For Peace
Think Twice
Michael's Affirmation

Perhaps we should help the estate with their search and find.
Here is the link for the estate:

There are no more excuses. Bring on the new album now!

Man I thought those were Vocaroo Links 😭😭😭

And now...a short list:

A Place With No Name
Hold My Hand
Blue Gangsta
Xscape
Love Never Felt So Good, DYKWYCA*, She Was Lovin’ Me*, For All Time, She’s Trouble, Starlight, Carousel

Speaking of FAT, I find it weird that nobody talks more about how the (mostly complete) version from 1990 leaked in 2002, yet Michael finished and released it on T25 despite his infamous attitude towards leaks lol

I saw that someone on the tracker added "Wouldn't You Love To Love Me?" What's the story with that?
That's a Prince song.

After Prince passed on the song BAD, he then offered MJ "Wouldn't You Love To Love Me?". I doubt MJ ever recorded the song. It was released by Taja Sevelle in 1988. You can hear the Prince demo here:

This is actually so petty. Like it’s literally Prince propositioning MJ. That’s hilarious.

That was me! My good friend Danny Skates (banger singer btw) told me about it and I was shocked we had all missed this, a song by PRINCE lol
