*It was 1993 by the way, not 1984.I'm also in Paris, primarily responsible for this shit. It's your damn father, fine that you have problems with estare or whatever, but get your damn ass in gear and stop being so negative about it. Of course the press picks up on this kind of thing. Your cousin and your brother are also involved, as is Janet, who keeps her mouth shut. I’m so angry right now And what about the damned press? There were no child abuse scandals until 1984, and the film only goes up to that point. I hate this world. We won't break the billion mark.
two wordsThere are times where the film honestly insults some of the greatest talents that MJ worked with by ignoring their input.
Excited for you! Hope you have a great timeIm waiting in the theater...
I came way too early!
Cant wait!
Thanks!Excited for you! Hope you have a great time
Thank you and yes I'm seeing it this weekendThanks!
I wish the same for you! (If youre going to see it soon)
Because they want MJ to be seen as a monster. I actually just saw a critic from "Kaleidoscope News" (hope I spelled this correctly) admit that they think MJ is guilty and want the movie to flop big time.i just read some critics reviews. why are they all so pissed off it doesnt detail the chandler allegations??? these people wtf
Nothing involving Jordan Chandler or his family’s allegations remain in the final movie. These scenes had to be removed after attorneys for the Jackson estate realized there was a clause in the settlement that blocked the depiction or mention of Chandler in any movie. Gone was the original opening depicting the police raid on Neverland Ranch, which Fuqua teased to The New Yorker by saying: “I shot [Michael] being stripped naked, treated like an animal, a monster.”
“When I hear things about us — Black people in particular, especially in a certain position — there’s always pause,” Fuqua said, with The New Yorker noting the filmmaker “was skeptical of some of the accusers’ parents, particularly Chandler’s father, who was recorded threatening to insure that Jackson was ‘humiliated beyond belief.'”
While Fuqua stressed he didn’t know the truth behind the allegations made against Jackson over the years, he noted that “sometimes people do some nasty things for some money.”
I mean the film goes til 1984. (and only 1 scene from bad)*It was 1993 by the way, not 1984.
They won't do It since there s a second movie in the canOr the Cut ?! That would be great
I hope these scenes aren't removed for Part 2, even if they need to change a few things to get around this supposed clause. Beyond getting the truth out there, these scenes would be the necessary emotional punches to the gut for new viewers who connect with this Michael and his journey up to the end of Part 1.![]()

Nice! I didn't know MJ had such a strong fanbase in FranceSecond Best launching of the year 2026 in ( Paris ( France ) during the first showings in theaters ( behind Super Mario Galaxy ).
90% of the time it s a good indicator if the movie will be a success or not.
Currently, It did better than Marsupilami, a movie that sold 6 millions tickets here in France. Mario Galaxy has already sold more than 4 millions theaters tickets.
Yep big début in France i'm french i think around 2 million admissions full first week !!Nice! I didn't know MJ had such a strong fanbase in France

Now that people are seeing the movie, my old post (above) should make more sense to you guys. This should not be a spoiler so let's just get this out there.. The movie goes beyond the Victory tour, it ends in the timeframe where most are expecting.
Now, how it ends is where would throw people off. Not storyline wise, but the teaser and trailer gives an impression of something that makes people expect something that they'll actually have to wait for. Vague I know - but I must.
