Was Mr. Michael Jackson a Christian?

I believe Michael voluntarily left Jevohah’s Witness, not kicked out. I don’t know if he officially got baptised into Christianity but he practiced it such as celebrating holidays like Christmas and Easter. Near the end of his life, he may have been reconsidering his faith and convert into being a Muslim (he was being persuaded by friends and family).

I think he believed in God and had respect for other religions too. Btw there seems to be several people who say they are Christian but believe Jesus will come back as a warrior, in the middle east.I think that.s crazy.

All I know is that he believed in God ( He mentions it a lot in his songs) and was opened to other religions. If he had known what the Church did the kids, he would have been shocked.

He celebrated Christmas in his aldulthood because the Jehovah Witness's members don't celebrate it nor celebrate birthdays as he sait it during speech at the Grammy Awards when he accepted the Legend Award.

people miss the point that when michael was in his god era, he was actually wanting to challenge such a being and beat them down. why else would he take karate? it was to get through the assembly line of middle eastern profits and have his way with their supreme leader

I fail to see how taking karate would mean a desire to challenge such a being. It would make far more sense for him to have done karate for self defense or to probably sharpen his moves like his kicks or even just for enjoyment. That’s a pretty random conclusion that you jumped to, no evidence in it at all. I don’t have evidence, but at least my idea makes reasonable sense

clearly he took karate to prepare for the zombie invasion. given that he was in his god era, he was afraid of the christ zombie, which is what thriller was really about. he had to add the disclaimer so people didnt catch on, but he was ready for it. that kick he does at the apex of harmonies where he reaches out is the signal. also in the song 7 digits, produced by the immaculate bryan loren, mj says "shes a loser", referring to the christ, who was actually a woman (the catholic church put this out there as far back as the 5th century as an open secret). he then says "they only give ya 7 digits when you die," clearly referring to when he meets the yeshua character. im glad that mj rectified this with ghosts, glowing into his secret atheist era, but still preparing for this battle nonetheless

the very obvious joke

MJJC: This is kind of random, but did Michael ever express any interest in Islam or becoming a Muslim? There were many rumors swirling around in the months after his death that said he was a Muslim

Jermaine Jackson: Michael did not convert to Islam. He was curious about it and I gave him many books to read about Islam. I write in the book how, during his 2005 trial, he returned to the Kingdom Hall to pray. It's fair to say that he died a Jehovah's Witness.
I think being a jevoah witness always stayed with him cuz katherine is one

Paris said she was raised Christian, so that pretty much confirms he was Christian

And while I don't consider jehovas witnesses to be Christians, they see themselves as Christians, besides he left that sect and likely just became a regular Christian.

After Michael left the Church of Jehovah's Witness, he didnt really follow any one religion or go to Church on a regular basis. He was a spiritual person, who practiced mediation and was knowledgeable about many different religions from Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity and various other religions.

Fans like to project their own views and beliefs onto a fantasy image of Michael which is very far from the reality of who he was.
Its not a projection when Paris (who is not a christian now) says she was raised Christian.

You think Michael raised his kids in a religion he didn't follow himself?

You wanting him to believe he didn't follow a religion is actually the projection.

wow

I know his brother Jermaine alleged that MJ was considering converting to Islam but I pray that he accepted the Gospel. It's hard to accept that fact that only him and God know. ❤️

I LOVE this forum #applehead24 🤗

I can’t highlight enough how tone deaf of a comment that was. It breaks my heart to read some of the things people say on this website. You should be ashamed for saying something so insensitive. Imposing your religious beliefs on the dead in such a condescending way is NOT OKAY!

COz he didnt. This picture is of him getting an honorary black belt.
im pretty sure i read he did study karate karate
Michael had done karate and was given a special honorary black belt from Japan. They don’t just hand those out to just anyone, celebrity or not, you have to actually have trained and had skills and be good at it

How is that being insensitive, she’s saying that if he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior then he will be in heaven which is a far better place than earth. It’s not imposing a belief, it’s speculation and really just a what if scenario since nobody knows his heart but God

I genuinely don’t want to answer you because you previously accused me and another user of being violent on a post when we were just respectfully defending Michael. But I will kindly answer for anyone who happens to see this and is wondering why I’m pointing it out.

Simply put: It is a very selfish and ego driven to say. It’s an example of what’s called hopeful speculation. It shows that this person’s activation of love involves wishing for what THEY believe is the best possible outcome for THEM. So many people feel a connection to Michael’s spirit but feel entitled to want to claim him as one of their own in his own final moments.

Imagine if his family read that comment.

NEWS FLASH: Your own deepest values are NOT more important than respecting human life. Michael’s personal journey belongs to HIM, not the public. True love for someone means honoring who a person actually was, not who you wish them to be to satisfy your own world views.

you’re accusing me of being "condescending" while literally telling me I should be ashamed...that’s not justified self-righteousness...that’s projection. i expressed a personal hope in a thread about religion...the thread is literally titled "Was Michael Jackson a Christian?" if that offends you, the issue isn’t my comment...it’s your inability to tolerate viewpoints that aren’t your own or respect others’ autonomy. i didn’t shame anyone...i shared a hope. you chose to shame me (a stranger) over a difference in belief...hmmm... if we’re talking about what’s ‘not okay,’...your response seems like the better example...;)

you keep passing off your comments as "respectful" but repeatedly singling out and antagonizing me and #applehead24 says the opposite. if our posts/comments/threads bother you that much, you’re free to ignore them instead of inserting yourself just to criticize. calling a personal hope "ego-driven" while writing paragraphs policing other people’s beliefs is a contradiction you might want to sit with...this thread is titled, "Was Michael Jackson a Christian?" hence religion. so expressing a faith based perspective isn’t "claiming"...it’s participating in the conversation. i didn’t claim anything about him as fact. i didn’t state anything as fact. i left it at "only him and God know"which is the opposite of entitlement. if you can’t engage without targeting people or trying to shame them... maybe the issue isn’t our comments, it’s your need to be right and control the conversation ;)

i have a personal hope michael knew god was a fabrication and did it to appease other humans. it would also be funny if michael viewed himself as a christ-like figure internally. i would rather read the book of hee-hee over the incest ridden patriarchy that is duh bibul

That's why I found this video so interesting, I've never seen it before and it's in his own handwriting!

Guys what do you think of this? This YouTuber has done some good research and I think is giving some great insight I've never heard before
Oh my gosh that is so interesting!
Ahhhhhh I love learning about this kind of stuff!!!
It says there is a part 2, would you be able to find it and share that as well!?
