The Michael Jackson Chart Watch

Here an update of my graphs.
I love it. Great work.

Surprised there's not a website doing this on demand for any artist with a user-selectable time horizon. Maybe mystreamcount will do it eventually.

Does anybody know of a searchable site with lifetime Apple/Amazon/Deezer stats? I'd love to see a scatter plot comparing Spotify with something else.

Being #1 on the Global Streaming Charts - especially for so long and by such a margin is super impressive. For anyone.
I seem to remember Take That once outsold the entire top 20 put together...

One persons biased view
Oh, biased? If love to hear the explanation for that.

What is this "primary artist rules" I am reading about... Is this some kind of crapy rule that tries to block out catalogue artists who would dare to have to many albums or sings in the chart??
I didn't know about this either, but I guess it's so the radio doesn't have to play them all, lol.

It kinda makes sense. It's no longer a "singles" chart, after all. Singles and albums no longer exist. Everything is just songs. If you counted everything, then somebody would release an album and potentially get 20 songs in the top 20.

Also, it’s a big “screw you!” to;

The predominantly white anti MJ media.
The **** do you keep referring to them like that?

Racist motherfucker.

White US media sucks! It is what it is.

Can’t sleep. Feeling a big rough. But here’s some amazing news to start the day (if you’re on UK/Western European time 😉)

Michael remains - for an 11th day - as the #1 GLOBAL ARTIST

He’s also increasing his gap over the opposition, again, with a big rise in points over preceding days!

MJ continues to be #1 IN EVERY SINGLE FORMAT.

Just when I think it will start to slow down - the fans snd public surprise me once again!

The continued love for MJ and his music is unprecedented, in the modern era,

👏👏👑👑👑👑🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️

I wondered about that, too. But I assume they sell that kind of service to the record companies. That's why I appreciate @beltrano @Annita and others for producing this archive! 🙏

Racist motherfucker.
Stop this aggression ✋️ we can talk properly. The term is offensive for women, too
The predominantly white anti MJ media.
I take it you referred to white racist / supremacy positions of those media and not to their skin tone directly

Man, do you remember just a few years ago when we were basically the only ones listening to this niche artist called "Michael Jackson" before it was cool and now suddenly everybody's talking about him

I know you’re probably half joking but, if not, that really isn’t the case.

For someone who’s avidly followed charts - new and old - MJ has always done very well. Even since the effect of his passing died down, and before this MONUMENTAL SUCCESS, he has had #1 albums, various top 10 singles, and was an ever present on modern streaming charts - becoming EXTRA popular each October and November. Not to mention his short films on YouTube, and the millions of social media posts where people copied his iconic dance moves.

Yes. This current MICHAEL success has launched MJ to another level - way beyond his contemporaries - but, please do not be fooled into thinking only a ‘select’ few of us cared. That’s simply not true.

Neither during his lifetime nor after his death Michael was never a niche artist. Looking back over the last few years, I honestly cannot recall a time when he didn't have an album on the charts in the US, the UK, or Germany. Just last year, he had a Top 10 hit. For a very, very long time, he has been the most-streamed solo legacy artist—and ranks within the top 100 on the all-time streaming list overall. His physical album sales reached figures that Madonna, Springsteen, Dylan, and others can only dream of—even though they remain prominent in the media, releasing new albums, embarking on world tours, or collaborating with today's trendy artists.

It's a joke. Don't take it personally

This is sensational. Now the gap to the Top 7 ist bigger. But nothing seems impossible for MJ ?

Lets pass Taylor Swift, that would be a big message and also make swifties so mad :D Lets just keep going to see the movie, listening to the music on all platforms and dropping likes and comments, let the snowball continue to grow to an avalanche ;)

I am dedicating all my spare time to this cause now 🫶 While I eat I am liking twitter posts, wish I did not have to sleep at all lol.
