Siedah has every right to feel disappointed but the thing is, is that they only have 3 hours in which to focus on as many of the more significant moments in Michael’s life as possible. And there’s A LOT of them.

Separately,

Regarding the likes of Andy Warhol, he literally may only appear for 10 seconds in the Studio 54 scene, as will many others. Michael’s time in NYC whilst making The Wiz is an extremely important part of his life as it’s arguably the freest he ever felt. Its why Human Nature was an important song to him as it reminded him of that time. Human Nature really deserves to be included.

The LaToya relationship is pretty relevant because he was closest to her and they lived together in NYC. When LaToya turned on him in 93 because she was being controlled and beaten by Jack Gordon it must have been like a dagger in his heart. I wonder will they go into all of that?.

Obviously Michael forgave her and understood what she was going through, and he did allow the inclusion of Superfly Sister on BOTDF which would be an amazing inclusion to help narrate that relationship If they were to delve into it. Probably too time consuming to include something as throwaway as Superfly Sister but it’s pretty autobiographical nonetheless and also addresses Michael’s (at times) dismay with his brothers attitude.

They do only have 3 hours though and a hell of a lot of material to present, and obviously the dynamics between Joe and Michael will be a heavy focus.

One last point I’d like to add regarding the exclusion of Siedah is that Michael’s best friend was Elizabeth Taylor, his wife the daughter of Elvis Presley and he hung out with the likes of Nelson Mandela.

Simply put, Michael’s life was bigger than a lot of his professional relationships. I do empathise for Siedah but her exclusion is really nothing personal.

that's why I think there will be a
The Jacksons Tour 2026 feat Jaafar
and more...
Sorry for the laugh emoji, but this idea sounds so wrong to me. Michael worked hard to leave The Jacksons ... and Jaafar joining them for a tour would feel like "marketing Michael back" into the group for mere profit.

Also, I wouldn´t like for Jaafar to become an MJ impersonator/surrogate.

And that's why it'll probably happen 🤣
I can see something like a Resurrection Tour sell very well after the biopic.
- they could market it as resurrection of the Jacksons -
no one can replace Michael
it would be a tour with the actor from the movie

Well... A biopic might be one thing...However, If people try to re-create/fill Michael's 'place' with jermaine's son.. For me, here it becomes let's say,, problematic. It would be a perfect example of ..all types of lack of respect/ authenticity. I hope this whole project is not the outcome of what has now been mentioned. I am grateful for @bluemoon7 post.

I mean they perform his songs in the MJ musical....

So who now is still singing with them? I don't follow Queen. I know that doesn't answer your question, but I never thought that 'situation' would quite possibly happen to us.
all I'm saying is, it will never be the same without Michael
Queen is not Queen without Freddie
but I think the Jacksons would be better with Jaafar than without him

I feel sick @Hot_Street at the thought. You've put me off my rather lovely orange smoothie here. It's literally in the bin. But at least we are just supposing. Not like that has been announced. 🤗 It would be interesting to see the rest of people's input and opinion on this.

what about Queen without Freddie?
Well, Freddie died while still part of Queen. Michael hasn´t been with the Jacksons since 1984 (hope it is the exact year). Michael has been a SOLO artist for the most important part of his career. It is an entirely different situation.

@HOT-Street I can understand that you would like to see Jaafar going on tour/being part of concerts, but joining his father and uncles to basically fill in for Michael does not seem like a good idea to me for all the reasons mentioned above.

And Michael consistently made strenuous efforts, as far as we could see, to avoid doing any more joint projects. It's possible he might have done one more thing with the brothers - bc his mother wanted it to happen. I'm not convinced he wanted it for himself.

This is just one reason I've not been enthusiastic about Jaafar being in the film. I know there's lots of positive feedback about his performance but it's what happens afterwards that bothers me.

Who is playing Tatum O’Neal?
hopefully no one.

She stabbed him in the back. Besides would she depict Michael in her biopic? Something tells me she wouldn't.

She doesn't deserved to be enshrined in his biopic.

I feel the same way about stephanie Mills.

There was a girl named Janelle who won Miss black american that Michael use to hang out with at that time too. They should show scenes of her and MJ in the biopic instead of Tatum and Stephanie.

he doesn't have to sing Michaels songs
he has his own songs:

I believe so yes. I don’t have Brice Najar’s book “Book on The Dance Floor” to hand, but I believe either Brad Buxer or Bryan Loren confirmed it. I think it was Buxer.

Also, apart from the lyrics, it was also originally written during the Dangerous sessions around the time that LaToya got married to Gordon.
