The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

dada deee describe what's going down
and even mmm hmmmm don't want you not around
don't wanna let me be......just let me be
you gotta see gotta seeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Why does Monday come before Tuesday?
Why do summers start in June?
Why do winters come too soon?
Why do people fall in love
When they're always breakin' up? Oh, why? (Why?)
Why do we love if love will die?

Why does Wednesday come after Tuesday?
Why do flowers come in May?
Why does springtime go away?
Why do people fall in love
When they're always breakin' up? Oh, why? (Why?)
Why do I love you? Tell me why
Days in Glouchesteshire vibes

Imo the whole Wikipedia page should be completely rewritten. The issue (which I've already stated in this thread earlier) is that Wikipedia only documents content which can be verified using secondary sources (i.e. All the Songs, Man in the Music), meaning that community research (including the Tracker) is unacceptable unless officially documented (released book, official website etc.) The leak dates shouldn't be included either as they can't be 'properly' verified.

Either way, the Tracker is the most preferred place to learn about anything unreleased. I've been trying to clean up the MJ Wikia a bit too to maintain a place featuring details on recording dates/studios etc. I'd suggest either rewriting the Wikipedia page with references only to secondary sources, but I know very well that's not an ideal solution given the fact that (1) we learn new stuff almost every day, and (2) half of the stuff listed would be gone (the Halstead citations are all outdated and incorrect). My other proposal would be to nominate the whole article for deletion altogether.

Dude I've been rewriting the entire Wikipedia with info from the tracker lmao

Jumping to the HIStory era. I believe that "Ask DD" is in fact a post-Dangerous/pre-HIStory outtake:

The date written on the tape inlay is clearly 4-8-92 (April 8, 1992). SPYHO is said to have been finished with Bruce in April 1992. I wonder whether the song originates from the same sessions or maybe even from the Dangerous sessions (see "Ask Rene").
SPYHO was basically completed during Dangerous sessions, if you check out Brad's footage from August 1991.

What is the last song that Michael recorded that has complete or near enough complete vocals that is yet to be released?

Based on the melody Motif keeps using in his shitpost memes, I feel like World of Candy is gonna end up being my most hated demo if those clips are anything close to the real thing.

It really takes effort to make a song cheesier and more annoying than Seeing Voices, I Have This Dream sounds like a masterpiece in comparison.

Lotfi was right, we want angry vocals...... (half /s)

I mean, World of Candy is just a silly song if anything Motif is posting is accurate.

There isn't anything from the RedOne sessions that's anywhere close to being complete unfortunately, the one song RedOne did mention that could be released would still need to have other vocalists to fill in the missing gaps.

Unless there's a song that we've yet to know of its existence, "I Was The Loser" is most likely the only track from the final years that was completed. Also the only song from that era which I think will ever be officially released by the Estate.

Is "Just Remember" really that complete? I thought half of it was just Michael going "da da de de" lol
It is—that’s what Damien reported.

“Best of Joy” was the last complete vocal MJ recorded. “I Was the Loser” was just replacing background vocals. The RedOne song (the title of which hasn’t been confirmed) is complete enough to be released, but it was never confirmed that it was fully finished.
