Greg Gorman's semi-nude photo of Michael?

I still haven't received any answers to my questions....just people saying it's definitely Michael....so....I've gradually accepted it, but the doubt still remains in the back of my mind.

It's a shadow. The part that looks like vitiligo at first glance is actually a shadow of his curls if you look closely.

The feet look too big to be Michael's, in my opinion.

The size seems right to me, taking into account that this angle and perspective would make his feet appear a bit bigger anyway.

The white arm-brace is nothing like the one he always wore.....there are no strappy bits wrapping around, attached with velcrose.

This picture was taken before he started wearing the white arm-brace. And I don't see any reason why he should always wear the same kind of arm-brace. He wore a black glove instead of a white one at the AMA in 1984.

Red leg-warmers?? Really?? When has he EVER worn those?

Probably for the same reason he got naked in You Are Not Alone. Michael liked artistic nudes, that's no secret. Now the real question here is, why didn't he take off his underwear? -_-

He often looks angry in photoshoots, I'm sure it's just because he knows the girls like it.
 
do we have this picture already in better quality? I only find pics of the pics in a glas frame from the side.

We don't really know how Michael felt about the pictures. It could be he liked them but just couldn't figure out an appropriate way to release them back then. I mean where would he have put them? On the cover of an album? In a magazine? It's easier nowadays with the Internet, but releasing something like that in the 80's would have been a bit more complicated. I don't think he would have given them to Karen Faye if he had had a problem with them, he would probably have chosen to destroy them instead. Given that Michael later got fully naked for the You Are Not Alone video, I'd be very surprised if he had a problem with these pictures being released now.

Anyway, I think it's so funny that Michael just gave half-naked pictures of himself to Karen. Can you imagine your boss giving you pictures like that? How inappropriate that would be! :ROFLMAO: Michael was like, "Here, girl, I know you like those pics, enjoy" lol

Also imagine, she had to do full body make-up on him for these pictures. I... gotta go, really, should think about sth else 🫠
 
so let me get this str8....she had an issue with the photographer releasing it only for her to release a new angle? smh i truly am not fond of Karen Faye....she gives me shangna vibes

Like in my opinion this does not even look like Michael even close to how beautiful Michael is even if I squint and try to see it and it still looks like someone else to me, it is an ugly shot period just my opinion! I saw Kare's X post and it is REAL apparetly, but it does not change my opinion of the photo in the least! I guess I will have to get used to REAL photos of him coming out that no one has ever seen before, except for those that have these photos hidden from sight! Even though it means the world to me that they are beig released at all, but that doesn't mean I will LOVE THEM ALL like I thought I would! C;est la vie to each their own, and beauty is in the eyes of an MJ LOVER!! 😻

Not ashamed to admit that I've wondered if Michael had considered posing for Playgirl magazine in the Thriller/Bad era and then thinking "missed opportunities," Lol. But in hind sight, I'm glad he didn't. Or at least just wait until the sales cleared on the albums, sold. People probably would have been quick to return or not buy his album cos of him doing a spread. 😩

Agrees. He obviously had no problems taking the pics as it was something he wanted to do. But perhaps he sat back and thought about it or the label shut him down due to his image. Michael kept it sexy and flirty enough without doing too too much at that time. While Michael was very much a big kid with a child like heart, he was still a grown man and perhaps wanted to explore and share other sides of himself when comfortable but it probably was hard for him given his cleanish image at the time. Knowing him, he probably was like "this looks like something Prince would do...scrap it!" Lol. (I love Prince too, btw). I think he made a good call on not releasing at the time. Michael was a good business man, so, I think he either didn't release due to his image or he just wasn't feeling something about the pics. However, I personally would like to see the entire photo shoot! 💯🤤
 
I would like to see them published cuz I'm just strange and love the human body, it's so interesting in its structure and how it works and his physic is like, my favorite body type to draw and study so I would love to see it from an artistic perspective. It would be a shame if we don’t get them but it won’t be the end of the world 🤷‍♀️
