So I asume the leaked version is from 1987-1989. Because the 1986 version is just scratch vocals and the one leaked has some complete verses and bridge without mumbling. There's a more advanced version of TMO than the leaked one. Vocals with Siedah!!!
From Bill:
We fussed with TMO a lot at Hayvenhurst but I never recorded any vocal.
Probably why I never liked the song.
On 1/30/89 I was working with Tom Petty.
On 10/30/86 I was working on Come Together
I don't know of anybody working on MJ on 1/30/89.
We did a lot in early Dangerous sessions:
Can't remember any of it. Piccolo Trumpet???
I really did not like this song!

Bill:
Buffalo Bill was only worked on @ HH ,AFAIK.
Truly, ya'll should forget about that song.
There's nothing there but something MJ said to a journalist one time.
Classic Bill and his opinions about MJ's unreleased music lol.Bill:

Yeah I really appreciate him sharing his work calendars and memories of working with Mike, but I'll make my own mind up on the songs.Classic Bill and his opinions about MJ's unreleased music lol.
He said Forget Buffalo Bill and he didn’t like that song?Bill:

He was right about TMO lmaooClassic Bill and his opinions about MJ's unreleased music lol.
This is interesting, percusion ODs on MoB with Da Costa after Barnes left.
Yeah if he says something is bad I'll take his word for it lol. Though if/when "Buffalo Bill" leaks it'll be monumental regardless of its quality. That's the only track in the vault that manages to surpass GYWOOM in terms of hype.He was right about TMO lmaoo
It'll be just as abysmal as GYWOOM was, it's hype will be it's own demise.Yeah if he says something is bad I'll take his word for it lol. He seems to imply the song was left in a very early state and isn't that fleshed out.He said Forget Buffalo Bill and he didn’t like that song?
Yeah. I'm beginning to think that the chorus was the only really complete part, and the verses may have been incomplete or scat or something. He seems to imply the song was left in a very early state and isn't that fleshed out.
These are Bill's Hayvenhurst session calendarss from the BAD sessions:Does anybody have a collection of all the sheets with dates that Bill has posted? The ones that mention the dates and what was worked on that day?
Would be cool if he has that date he did the mix for "State of Shock" too (the demo /w Freddie), the very mix that drew Michael to Bill's work and started their working relationship. These are Bill's Hayvenhurst session calendarss from the BAD sessions:

I feel like TMO is important to give us a perspective of what sounds Michael experimented with in order for the bad album to be so great in terms of sound quality. and TMO is pretty damn good for a scratch vocal. He was right about TMO lmaoo
He hates trolling the community, this really makes no sense! Not sure if this was posted already, but this leak of "I Was the Loser" is supposed to be the ORIGINAL track!
Unfortunately, according to a comment from the uploader JacksonUnreleased, the end of the track was edited by long time Michael Jackson collector Korgnex (why does Korgnex always have to edit stuff).

The Jacksons Victory and the Dynamite album were both being recorded simultaneously at Can-Am and Soundcastle with the same team of engineers. The same is true for Janet's song Don't Stand Another Chance from Dream Street. All of the Jackson brothers (except Randy) sang background vocals on the track. I think DSAC was actually John Barnes' first collaboration with the Jackson family. I also wondered if some of the songs on Dynamite were considered for Victory, and vice versa. But then again, Jermaine's involvement in the Victory album didn't occur until late during the process. In fact, Torture is his only contribution to Victory, and that song was originally meant to be a duet with Michael and Jackie. Jermaine didn't record his vocals until at least March 1984 (according to a newspaper or magazine clipping). By that time, he was practically finished with the Dynamite album, so I think it's pretty unlikely that Dynamite had any Victory outtakes. Can Am?
Also Dynamite being there, I wonder if it was considered for "Victory" oriignally.
The leaked version can count as the scratch vocal 1986 version. I wouldn't call those verses complete but placeholder mumbles and lines until he got around to writing full lyrics. The bridge might be the most complete part lyrically but I wouldn't guarantee those would've been finalSo I asume the leaked version is from 1987-1989. Because the 1986 version is just scratch vocals and the one leaked has some complete verses and bridge without mumbling.
Jermaine also does the ad-libs on « Wait » with MJ.Torture is Jermaine’s only contribution to Victory,
I always thought it was an early Bad session recording. But heck, many of the Victory outtakes were reworked during the BAD sessions, so I don't know if it makes much of a difference. Can you share the clips you looked through?Looking through some clips, John confirmed You're The One by Jennifer Holliday is a Victory outtake as he said whatever doesn't make the album will be given to other artists
Ok, thanks for the correction. Probably some overdubbed ad-libs done towards the end of the sessions.Jermaine also does the ad-libs on « Wait » with MJ.
John said his first collaboration was with Jermaine in 1976The Jacksons Victory and the Dynamite album were both being recorded simultaneously at Can-Am and Soundcastle with the same team of engineers. On a side note, Jermaine also produced a song called All We Have is Love that was supposed to be a duet with Janet. Record label interference caused it to be scrapped, and it was given to Howard Johnson (without his knowledge). The song almost ended up on Dream Street, as Janet mentioned in a magazine interview. I'd love to hear the version with Janet. I wonder if Bill has a mix of the song with Janet and Jermaine's vocals, and if he has the session dates for DSAC.
