Yeah, all my projects took some weeks so far because I don't have time every day, so... patience it isCiao. I've seen the many progresses of various artists. No sweat, cuz I myself draw too : ))
Yeah, I enjoy to drive myself insaneI counted the days, took u over a month on a portrait (herb ritts photo shoot mike &superghoul (?))so many details u take in for your own drawings ahh

I had drawing as a hobby, however I went through massive art block during secondary school. Now that I'm taking dip. in animation (lotsoo drawing yoo) I *have* to break out from it to fight my inertiaDu you draw just for fun or is it part of your job?
5:30 a.m.Screaming (albeit silently) cuz it's 5:30 a.m. (should stay up for assignments) and I share a bedroom w my grandmother & sister

I have no clear direction in what I occupation I want to take up in the future for now. I'll see where my interests can take me to, perhaps (one shall be my main income, or side income)So, I guess you want to work in that area? Do you already know what exactly?
Shake my head, lady. Shake my head. One can hope that this will not be the case in the futureI am worried that in some years AI will take over most creative jobs
Well, choose something that can't be easily replaced by AI. I'm rolling internally this cannot be the scenario that we'll be havingWell, choose something that can't be easily replaced by AI. I think in the next 5-10 years many jobs will disappear.
Well, it's already happening. Many companies and especially smaller clients prefer cheap and fast over high quality. So I would recommend looking for an area that can't be replaced easily and/or choosing a company that needs high quality. For example film studios instead of smaller companies.I'm rolling internally this cannot be the scenario that we'll be having![]()

Yes, I’ve certainly seen a decline in my own line of work when it comes to the amount of projects I have lined up. I will say that for those who opt to go the AI way, while faster and less expensive, it’s still a risky approach, most gen-AI software and websites list in their Terms&Conditions that the images/videos generated through their platform cannot benefit from copyright. That leaves whatever was generated as fair game for others to use as well, and legally speaking, there is not much that can be done about that (due to the absence of copyright).I am in the creative business, too but thinking about doing sth else...I am worried that in some years AI will take over most creative jobs.
First of all: Love your work, I checked out your Insta profileYes, I’ve certainly seen a decline in my own line of work when it comes to the amount of projects I have lined up. Some publishers and authors I collaborate with have it in their contracts that whatever work they commission an artist has to be done without the aid of AI in any way, shape or form, so that the contracted product is protected and used solely for the intended purposes. They also do this to avoid any legal issues in the future, the law hasn’t really caught up with AI and not much regulation is put in place. There is a chance that might change in the future, but it’s my opinion that, ethical or not, AI is not going anywhere.
I am fortunate enough to have kept my creative career secondary to my main one, so it remains something I undertake whenever a project of interest comes around; it’s not my main source of income. Sadly, creators in general (writers, singers, painters, actors, artists in general) are facing very harsh times because of AI.
Maybe not now, but I think in 5-10 years AI will be really good and many jobs (especially graphic designers and illustrators) will disappear over time.Wow, I hope AI doesn't steal your job. It's not quite there yet, and when I see AI-generated ads, they all look the same and are very flawed. I think the profession of artist will never disappear because art is still present in all its forms!
Yeah, of courseMeanwhile, I envy your drawing skills; like Ghosty (do you like this nickname @someplace_else, I have the reference lol), it's meticulously well done! I need to get my graphics tablet out; it's been rotting away in my closet for five years![]()
