Yeh i find that strangeIm genuinely shocked no Pre-Motown songs are included, or any live J5 stuff. I really expected Live at the Forum audio to be used. Or Goin Back To Indiana Special at least.

In Japan only.Weird since another Motown Comp for the Biopic releases on May 20
Then just make it available globally instead of this one. But yea, they did try to go with the MJ hype during 2009, 2010 and 2012 as well, releasing projects like I Want You Back and Come And Get It when other projects were being released. In Japan only.
Has this been confirmed? As for now, it's only a playlist.Weird since another Motown Comp for the Biopic releases on May 20

the mid-70s period is completely irrelevant to the movie, you can't fit everything in a 2h movie while still having very good story-tellingI have to reiterate my displeasure with the soundtrack. It sucks that Dancing Machine and Rock With You are missing. These are milestones in Michael's career, but Who's Lovin' You is nothing more than a footnote. Michael even invented the robot for Dancing Machine. I fear that both songs will also be missing from the film.
What about the influence of Rock with You? Watch this:the mid-70s period is completely irrelevant to the movie, you can't fit everything in a 2h movie while still having very good story-telling
doesn't mean the song and every single other one which has deeper meaning behind it, so nearly every song in his catalogue, has to be includedWhat about the influence of Rock with You? Watch this:
RWY was Michael's biggest hit to date. This isn't just any song.doesn't mean the song and every single other one which has deeper meaning behind it, so nearly every song in his catalogue, has to be included
8 if you count the UK charts where, 'One day in your life' and 'Show you the way to go' topped the charts in the 80s.After all, it has 6 number one hits on it and also Dancing Machine. It's a pretty good Motown compilation.

It's just a playlist - you list listen to it right now.Is there already a published date?
Tbh, I've expected them utilizing the biopic as a way for dropping Hot Street as a single. The fact that they're not releasing anything new, not even any remixes, is really disappointing.
