After all, it has 6 number one hits on it and also Dancing Machine. It's a pretty good Motown compilation.

Then just make it available globally instead of this one. But yea, they did try to go with the MJ hype during 2009, 2010 and 2012 as well, releasing projects like I Want You Back and Come And Get It when other projects were being released.
 
I have to reiterate my displeasure with the soundtrack. It sucks that Dancing Machine and Rock With You are missing. These are milestones in Michael's career, but Who's Lovin' You is nothing more than a footnote. Michael even invented the robot for Dancing Machine. I fear that both songs will also be missing from the film.

the mid-70s period is completely irrelevant to the movie, you can't fit everything in a 2h movie while still having very good story-telling

doesn't mean the song and every single other one which has deeper meaning behind it, so nearly every song in his catalogue, has to be included

RWY was Michael's biggest hit to date. This isn't just any song.
 
Doesn't mean it would benefit the story, I mean it is included from what I heard some time ago but if you go into each song into detail, it will damage the movie
 
Seeing that Shake Your Body wasn't included in the Michael soundtrack, they have to release the Victory Tour some time

Show you the way to go isn't on the album, but went to # 1 in the UK in 1977.

Either way, the Motown compilation is packed with hits. What's still missing is perhaps Somebody's Watching Me, which became a number 2 hit in the US in 1984 and was released by Motown at the time.

Yeah, that's a pretty good Motown compilation. Very similar to "18 Greatest Hits", which is fantastic.

Wondering whether the soundtrack will get a more deluxe version with more tracks later on, or not.
