28 Years Ago: HIStory Began Being BAD!

I have three Vinyl's of the BAD album, two of them are unsealed.. i need to get a Vinyl player, nothing will ever surpass the sound of Vinyl! it exceeds 192khz :wild:

Around this time, the Bad short film would be in the middle of the editing process. I'm interested to know if they've cut it together with a preliminary version of it's song before it was finished.

I personally think that Michael recorded 'BAD' in 1985.. when the early production for the album began, for example recording 'Loving You' etc.! yeah, he recorded the final versions in 1986/87' but he was working on the album prior to this also, they rehearsed the short film & also recorded footage for it on several different days.

If only there was some way for us to be really sure when he actually recorded what; I'm actually curious. I do know he did start recording this album in 1985 but I don't think the title for it was decided until 1986. Than again, I may be wrong. :) Yeah, If I'm not mistaken, they did the whole short film (the black and white and color portions) over a period of maybe about a few weeks. It took two and a half weeks for the music portion, from what I understand.

As for dates of songs, here's my assumption.

Buffalo Bill: 1983/84 since it was intended for Victory for a brief moment.
Al Capone: 1985.
Chicago 1945: 1985. Possibly 1984.
Loving You: 1985. I've heard that this truly isn't a Bad session track? Any further word?
Scared of The Moon: 1985. Supposedly written for Brooke *******.
Price of Fame: 1985/86. Supposedly Reworked for a Pepsi theme as well.
Song Groove: 1986.
Free: 1985/86. I feel like it's closer to 1986.
I'm So Blue: 1986.
Streetwalker: 1986. From the leaked seminar recordings, I prefer the reworked 1987 version. The 1988 version was included on the Special Edition release.
Fly Away: 1986/1987.
Cheater: 1987, before production was finished.
Liberian Girl (Pyramid Girl): 1983/84.
The Way You Make Me Feel (Hot Fever): I've read anywhere from 1983 through 1985.
Another Part Of Me: 1986. Possibly 1985 as well.
Dirty Diana: Written in 1983, supposedly. I'd say recorded between 1983 and 1987.
Groove of Midnight: My best assumption would be 1985 through 1987.

That's all I can think of right now.
