9/11 & Cry

9/11 was 22 years ago.
Why wasn't Cry used to collect money for the victims?
Because 99.99% of charities are scams, enriching a select group of management with only token amounts going to where they say (if that). You are better off flushing your money down the toilet, at least you won't be enriching crooks.

Michael was in deep conflict with Sony during this time and that impacted all future releases after YRMW. That's why we never got to see a video of Whatever Happens and why the Cry video was so minimalistic. There were budget constraints and withdrawals all over the place. That's also why "What More Can I Give?" was never released as a charity single. Sony wouldn't allow that.

In hindsight, it's sad, off course. Maybe Michael should have approached the situation less vigilantly. I understand he was tired of crooks and schemers, but he should have taken a more long-term approach and dealt with Sony until his contract ran out. Instead he got entangled into this lawsuit-mess that followed him for the rest of his life, until his untimely death. Ultimately it lead to him losing the entire Beatles Catalogue, as it was sold off in 2014 to SONY! His worst nightmare!

It has been written that Michael Jackson's voice got worse during the 'Invincible' album sessions also because of his prolonged use of Depigmentation creams with hydroquinone.

The prolonged use of such creams lead to the hardening of the larynx (more specifically, hardening of the laryngeal cartilage), which in turn makes the voice sound deeper and more strained.

The prolonged use of such creams can even lead to malfunction of lungs, which can make breathing even more difficult, especially when one tries to sing and record songs for an album.

Keep in mind also that his worsened voice (on certain songs from the 'Invincible' album) was also because they used the newly-introduced autotune audio method, which not only changes the pitch of the recorded voice but also it can distort vocals.

I wouldn't be surprised if you were just the first ChatGPT but made to be as flawed as possible.
