Hello MJJC Family,

We have been made aware of a story which came about as a result of one of the pictures shown during the Conrad Murray trial. We are asking for your help by responding to the two articles referenced below:

The photo shown during the Conrad Murray trial that shows a doll resting on his night table is, in typical fashion, stimulating all kinds of charges about his "strange behavior." The story originated at Reuters and mentions Michael's supposed "odd and pathetic behavior;” quotes Stacy Brown of all people; makes hay out of THE DOLL....

…and it is being picked up and carried by other outlets. Here is another link below. We are sure there are probably more

Whenever you see this meme of "strange and weird" or "addict", we ask that you please respond in their "Comments" section.

We sincerely thank you for your efforts to defend, protect, preserve and honor Michael’s legacy.

Our Best,
MJJC Legacy Project Media Advocacy Team

Windy, I have responded 2 days ago basically stating that Reuters are now going tabloid like News of the World. They did not post my comment. I wrote again somehow differently asking why my comment was not posted and again, none of my comment was posted. I mentioned that the missed the big picture and from the slurring tape speech, they should be commenting about how Michael is still thinking of helping others, using his money to build a children hospital instead of focusing on the doll and trivial matter. I say if they need to write tabloid stuff, they should discuss Conrad Murray "girl friends". Michael is not on trial here, Conrad Murray is. I also commented that they chose one of the worst photo to push their story. I concluded that going forward, I would get my news from AP instead.

The other article is in ABC news - http://abcnews.go.com/US/Conrad_Mur...evealed-conrad-murray-trial/story?id=14685891

This is what I commented:

WOW! This must be one of the "worst and irrelevant" article I have read and its in the NEWS section. This sounds more like something I expect from the infamous NEWS OF THE WORLD Tabloid. Oh, I forgot, ABC News is heading that direction - using attention grabbing headlines and write loads of rubbish - it reflects more of the type of person writing this article than Mr Jackson.

Remember, its the doctor who is on trial here, not Mr Jackson! If you want to write a tabloid article, write about the doctor and his "women" and his lifestyle. I'm sure there is a lot to write about.

I am not a fan but have been following the trial, reading news snippets for the past 2 weeks. I must say that that I was deeply touched especially by the slurred speech of Mr Jackson. Even in his most private and lowest moments in his life, he is thinking of helping others - using the money he will be earning to open a children hospital. I mean, how can one not have some compassion when hearing this? In fact, it would be more meaningful article to reflect and ponder that perhaps Mr Jackson is not so weird. He truly loves children and to me, it vindicates him. I now understand why Mr Jackson says "I hurt". Its because of all the unfair treatment from the media that has been painting him as bizarre and odd and its time now to stop. Enough is enough. Mr Jackson is not on trial here and please have some respect and I am sure his children will be flabbergasted if they come across this article.

I would request the Media advocacy team and anyone else who informs us about any of these untruthful/slanderous/disgusting articles to pl. post them here and not just give us the links. Clicking on these links means going to their websites, giving them more views, more popularity, more advertisements, etc., which is what they want. Our comments, sentiments or even the 'truth' of what we have to say is mostly ignored (intentionally, I believe) for they want only ratings. Their conscience has been long dead. It does not mean we must not write to them. We must keep believing, keep writing, keep fighting and one day WE WILL WIN! But pl. don't just post the link. Some of these articles are such absolute BS that we can't even get past the first few lines and its clear that they are written ONLY to exploit, defame and slander Mike, his legacy and us-the fans. There is no point giving such writers/authors ANY attention. They are so pathetic, stooping so low that defending Michael before them would be an insult to him. So PLEASE post the full articles as well as the links so ONLY those who wish to respond via their web page go there, the rest write through e-mail, or if a fan feels it right not to respond may do so as well. BUT PLEASE do not give them more views/hits by making us click on their links to read stuff that should never have been written in the first place.

Thanks so much.

I agree. The picture of the bed where Michael was found. On the left side, there is a doll. This picture was shown during the trial. Of course we don't think anything of it, but the media is talking about it.

Ankita, Your points are understood and appreciated. In some cases, the articles can be very long. One other thing we must consider. I'm not sure if it's good to post these articles in full out on the boards, because then we are highlighting them even more by displaying the full content here. I think if people read what the article is about at a high level and they wish to go to the site to comment, then they can make that choice. Obviously one has to go to the website in order to comment. The whole point for us to do this work is to have people respond. So honestly ( and I speak for myself, not my teammates here), I'm not sure which way is best. Your input is sincerely appreciated. Thank you.
