Hello, I am new to this forum and I also share in your grief.
I have read all of your comments carefully and with great compassion. I very much feel for you all collectively and individually. I have also been crying since Michael's passing. I cannot stop watching footage of him, nor stop listening to his music. I understand the feelings you are having and when the tears that run down my face uncontrollably, I feel like an intruder (I am a fan of Michael's but never managed to go to one of his gigs, nor did I join this community until now).
When I have spoken to friends and colleagues, it seems that noone cares and that makes me angry. What can I do? I now keep my feelings to myself when am around friends.
I cannot imagine half of what you, his true followers, are feeling right now, but perhaps I can offer some words of comfort.
Let faith help you through this difficult time. You must be strong for yourselves and for your families, friends and for each other, because as many people have said here, Michael Jackson would have not wanted his fans to be as distraught, but to keep him alive in your hearts (and in your feet). Keep his music and his love close to your heart and don't let anyone take that away from you. Cry when you need to cry and dance when you need to dance and remember to talk and share all of the time! That's the most important thing to do!
Feel what you have to feel right now, but please don't harm yourselves. The future is bright and the future does have Michael in it. He will never stop existing. He has put you all in charge to make sure his legacy lives on; and you (we) have a responsibility to ensure that he continues to live in our hearts, ears and feet.
Just give yourselves time.
God bless,
Anna
