Just courious!! Maybe we could plan a get together to celebrate his b-day!
 
earth_Song1- the following members are trying to meet up next week in DC ..... if you would like to come. Just a gathering somewhere in DC to talk about the MAN....

We're trying to contact a few other people in the area.

No too sure when or exactly where its going to be held, but we're planning to meet at a KFC sometime next week :lol:

Ok, I've decided to make things a bit more detailed and what not so peeps wont be confused

Date: August 17-21

Time: when ever its convienient for everyone

Place: a KFC in the D.C. area

Everyone is welcome to come. Bring anyone that might have fun. Know a fan from the area? Get on them and find out if they can come

Can you tell that I like to plan early?
 
Yea earth_song1 I wanted to do that but I'm not going to be in town then. I'm on vacation now and I'm leaving on the 22nd.

Really if you guys want to we can celebrate his birthday a couple days early :lol:
 
Alright well I'm just gonna start with some ideas of times and where we could meet up.

Times: well for me I'm free all day long :lol: mostly from 9am - 4pm. After then my Aunt comes home and I have to help out around the house (chores and stuff) but if I were to work my butt off the day of and be real nice I might be able to sneak out :lol: How about you working peeps? You matter most :lol: I'm just a lazy person and don't have to work, so your priority to work comes first! :yes: Or we could do this on the weekend :lol: might be easier?

Where: my first idea was to meet up at a KFC somewhere :lol: any better ideas feel free :D
 
Hey All....I'm in Baltimore, MD but am re-locating to DC in the next few months for work. This sounds like a great idea.....I would love to meet new fans :)
 
I am sure others will have better ideas .... but here is what i came up with.
I am looking to see if there is any special MJ stuff.

1. well there is jazz in the garden at the national gallery of art.
2. hard rock cafe has the actual red jacket from "beat it" we should go there!!!

Ok I vote for hard rock :lol: and stupid me... I didnt pack my beat it jacket :cry:

HAY GIRL HAY!! LOL

I was just about to email you about this. I was thinking we all should try to do something on the weekend because during the week is really busy with the work day crowd.

But if a weekday is the only way then i will take off if i need to.

The hard rock sounds cool! and maybe we could go to the 'mall' around the monument or the lincoln memorial..bring a cd player:punk:

i dunno lol or we can just hang out somewhere quite and just talk about MJ stuff :)

Hmmm....if it was the weekend I would have to take my aunt with me or something....maybe....im not sure....i know that no matter what im going to have to do some SERIOUS kissing up :lol:
 
Hi ya'll! I am just seeing this. I do not know DC worth a darn. I live in N.VA. Plenty of KFC's around these parts. LOL!

I agree....I think that the weekend would prob be the best. Anytime works for me, I have two weeks of nothing to do before I start my new job :)

Anyone have a boom box they could bring to blast MJ music? My Aunt said she had one and I looked for it all day today and I still can't find it :/

I don't know if we want to get arrested playing a boom box :) but my iphone should do..... it is pretty loud. hahahaha.
