Hello. Was on the PC version of MJJC this weekend and noticed all of the avatars are missing-well, actually, I've seen about 3. Is that no longer allowed? I didn't see a place to add one on the profile page.

As far as I can see, there are just over two pages of generic avatar choices. Here is a screenshot of the relevant setting:



As you can see from the screenshot, my custom avatar is "stuck" there but I'm currently unaware of any way to upload it so it is visible on the board as usual.

Thanks to your tip I was able to reupload my sig pic. I was wondering if it would be possible to create a similar option so custom avatars are again possible?

I also have a couple of general comments and questions if I may.

1) Are profile pics no longer available?
2) Is the PM limit now fixed for everyone?
3) I can see who I gave rep to but I can no longer see who has given it to me.
4) I noticed the "Donate" button is still available. I've always donated to both support the forum and have access to the perks of this board. I would be more than happy to do so again but as a consumer I understandably expect to receive, as in the past, certain considerations for my largesse.

4) Yes I am now having to pay for MJJC out of my own pocket so the button is there if anyone wants to help me pay for this place, regarding anything extra what I have done is give everything that was for the donators for all, so you still get the same but as do all, it was clearly a bad thing (for some) for me to ask for financial help and to then give extra to those who did help me with the costs.
 
So, just to be clear...has the uploading of avatars been permanently stopped? I don't know if there's a difference between them and profile pics.

Correct, since the ending of the donator group I can not offer all members the service of uploading things to my server, this also includes signature pictures, and yes profile pics are the same as avatars.

Could you make it the way so that you have to upload the avatar on another site and then use the url?

I'm afraid there is not the facility to use url's in avatars, it's either upload it to my server or use the general ones that I have added.

As a compromise I'm willing to add which ever one it is you want so you and any member can use, just add it here via url or pm me it and I will sort.
