Yes, video quality et cetera, but at this point I’m just happy that they got the message out, and I think it’s a bold move to do so on the official channel.

So awesome of Spike, because today can't be an easy day for him with the horrible news about Chadwick. He seems to be in great spirits.

I tuned into the live feed yesterday, but it kept freezing up. I saved it to 'watch later', only to find it gone the next day :( so sad.

questlove also did one yesterday. his is still available. i'll check that out.

I had my own playlist on a loop for the majority of the day :) long live Michael :)
 
I really hope they&#8217;ll always do a live stream for the party from now on. The videos they showed from previous years were so amazing, but most of us won&#8217;t be able to attend the celebrations in Brooklyn in person.

Happy I tuned in yesterday. It boggles my mind that I wasn't aware of some Jackson 5 songs, like Buttercup, penned by living legend Stevie Wonder himself. Thanks to DJ Spinna for that!

livestreams tend to have technical difficulties in general for me. I prefer radio.

I think the best tribute to Michael in recent memory is the bbc radio 2 one, on what would have been his 60th birthday. the whole day was dedicated to Michael, with different djs filling in. they played a wide range of songs that spanned his entire career. including features such as 'muscles' and 'somebody's watching me'. there was information, dedications, and recollections from the public and celebrities alike. there was also a countdown chart of the biggest selling/most popular Michael Jackson songs in the uk. I was pleasantly surprised with the likes of 'show you the way to go', 'say say say', and 'one day in your life' charting high.

everything ran smoothly, and it was a joyful experience that I would never forget :)
