Blood On The Dance Floor (Album)

I really like the 5 new songs, especially Morphine, which is one of my all-time favourite songs.

As far as remixes are concerned, the only remix on the album that I somewhat like is the History one. I haven't listened to the other remixes more than once, as they absolutely suck.

I wish Michael had finished In The Back and Innocent Man and released it on this album, instead of the crappy remixes. Had he done that, BOTDF would have been a lot better.

I think all the remixes are great, I only skip Earth Song and YANA šŸ˜…. Originals are better of course, but I still like them.

And imo, the History-remix is better than the original song - well, at least easier to listen to, driving with a nice energy. Great gym-song šŸ’

I think the biggest faux pas is there being no remix of TDCAU on BOTDF. Like the Money remix is absolute shovelware and it's not even a single?

This is a way better remix.

Morphine & Is It Scary are the highlights of this album. It's actually unbelievable why these two were left off History in favour of weaker songs.
For me the total opposite. I love all the 5 songs, but BOTDF and Ghosts are my favorite. Those 2 I listen to the most, BOTDF is even one of my favorite MJ tracks.

I wonder if Michael underestimated the song 'Blood On The Dancefloor'..?
It failed to be on the Dangerous album and even on the History album, and then when it came out on the lousy BOTDF remix album it also got an underwhelming video, not even a 'short film'..
And yet, IMHO, it is one of the most catchy songs of them all, an oldschool MJ dancefloor song which everyone was dying for and could have been a classic

Why do you think of Blood album being lousy? Just ignore the remixes.šŸ˜‰

As for the song Blood left off Dangerous album - I guess the main reason for this was, they weren't able to reproduce the punchy sound that Teddy's original demotape had.

BOTDF video is one of Michael's best.
