Guys - I am in need of a good researcher and writer to write up the history of MJJC, mainly as we don't have one and would be a good thing for our websites plus we need it to send to those who wish to be associated with us ie Starlight being one specifically,

Its needs to be all unique writing with our history how we have evolved what we have done (not to much detail on that) and what we offer as a community, also our numbers how busy we are and thing like we are the worlds most active Michael Jackson fan club,

Please if we can be very in-depth and professional as I will be sending to lots of people around the world as well as it going on the website and forum pages.

Volunteers or perhaps a couple of peeps good in the writing and researching.

True, I didn't mention MJJCShop cause I don't know the 'current status' of it? I'm still eager to receive my MJJC stuff as my Unicef bag is getting all the shine instead of the MJJC one :doh:

You may also notice, I didn't talk about the MJJC radio and chat but why 'brag' about stuff that 'faded' away hey... It diverts the attention from all the COOL stuff we're still doing...

MJJCommunity (previously known as MJJForum) was Founded in 2007 by Gaz. A passionate web developer and Hardcore MJ fan who managed to take just another MJ board to its highest peak injecting new features in it like a Professional main site which harbours all the features MJJC has to offer… More than you could ever imagine…

  • All the latest news right from the source that can be discussed in a ‘healthy’ and ‘respectful’ manner… All historic MJ events are kept in the MJJC History vault for further research and as a history value…
  • The ever passionate MJJC Staff members put their heart and souls on the line to give you all the latest ‘juicy free’ facts including a ‘Support’ system valve too for the weak at heart when it comes to ‘digesting’ the overload on ‘real’ and ‘bogus’ info.
  • This doesn’t mean MJJC shuns the Tabloid completely… There are ‘moderated’ sections where you can discuss this stuff still in a ‘respectful’ manner however but there the risk of stepping on anyone’s ones toes is cut to a minimum…
  • If News is not your thing and you just wanna talk about Michael… The man, the music and the dance… Michael mania is the place for you…
  • MJJC also shares rare pictures through the designated forum and the MJJC Picture site to keep his image alive and beckon the young and old glued to their screens with their hearts fluttering at so much beauty…

MJJC won the MTV O awards for “BEST fan site” in 2011… A title befitting their crown as MJJCommunity aims to ‘unite’ all the fans over the world to come together as brothers and sisters. The Army of L.O.V.E Michael Jackson ‘raised’ and ‘loved’ as his own children. The reason why they are allowed to wear their thorn crown with pride is the knowledge that “sharing is caring”…
MJJC strives for the BEST connections among the MJ family with building bridges to connect not only through MJJC Forum but also through Facebook, Twitter and MJJCBlog which also aims to preserves Michael’s legacy and spread L.O.V.E .

Everyone needs somewhere to ‘belong’… It’s after all ‘Human nature’ … MJJC is the ‘glue’ that holds this ‘shattered’ fan base together. Of course, ones who hold the crown are the target for crown snatchers… That’s sadly the downside of ‘Human nature’ however brave the soldiers of Michael’s army are… We put on our full armour of resilience and stick to our beliefs like Michael has taught us… High trees bend into leaning…

Life has its battles and victories but only the strong and determined will conquer and I know that MJJC will survive the toughest storm cause we have a team that is unbreakable and a Captain that leads us with a determined but caring pace of direction…
The simple fact remains that even Michael was smitten to MJJC and yes, secretly lurked and enjoyed how fans marvelled over anything Michael did…

If you desire to know any statistics… MJJC is the MOST active MJ fan club with the total count of 105.904 Members (Dated July 4, 2013) with around 869 active members. Of course, it fluctuates from time to time especially when there is a Breaking NEWS story or a NEW album or DVD out or nowadays on the faithful day of June 25[SUP]th[/SUP] there was a peak of activity that reached to 1.239.

Still we welcome NEW members to the MJJC family who have being touched by Michael’s Magic and found their way to MJJCommunity, the Soul Home for MJ fans.

We may have ‘lost’ the DREAMER but as long as MJJC is ‘alive’ we will NOT lose the DREAM…

I only have two things to say.

1. 2007? But I have seen members (yourself included) who have joined long before that. Am I missing something? :unsure:
2. As for the text itself, I only have one little objection. I think there are too many suspension points. In my opinion, it gives the impression of uncertainty or lack of confidence and we don't want that, do we? :p Perhaps replace some them with a semicolon or full stop or some other punctuation that conveys more certainty. :p

Well, honestly I kind of 'struggled' with that. From 2001 till 2006, this place was known as MJJForum and in 2007 :blush: if my mind doesn't fail me here :blush: It became MJJC :wub:

I guess, I tried to 'avoid' talking WHY it changed in MJJC :blush: and a good thing it did or I wouldn't have 'come back' at all :smilerolleyes:
I should have a think and ponder over how 'positive' I can 'bridge' this 'gap' :scratch:cause it's part of the HIStory if we like it or not.

It's a 'pet peeve' I need to get rid off. So 'full stop' like this (.) hey gives the reader a better 'impression'.

Okay, back to the drawing board then.
I'll update my post when I cracked my brain a little more on the changes.

Oh, I see. Well, I don't really know the history of the board, nor what it was like before, but you could say it was founded in 2001 as MJJCForum and taken over by Gaz in 2007 (or was he the original founder? :unsure:) when it changed its name into MJJC. That way, you can breeze over that time frame without dwelling on the negative, but at the same time, it gives the board a sort of relevance because it has been alive and kicking for 12 years. :p

Yes, that is what I meant. :p

My input is why not include the radio page, its a service we offer so why not tell them, also yes no talk of MJJF and how why it changed that's a part of history I want to forget and move on from as it isn't very positive.

Outside of that Its on par with what I wanted.

I've made a couple of small changes one of which is the year founded we simply cant say 2001 as that was when MJJF was founded and I wasn't the one who founded it, so we need to stick to the 2007 year,

Also Daz can you add in that MJJC is solely owned my me and ran by a team of volunteers or something similar to stave of those who continually say were estate or Sony owned,

Lastly the sign off needs to be changed, I know you want to have the credit and I really wish you could but this page is for the future of MJJC history page and will be sent our to many major networks and added to website etc so its just needs to be Kind Regards MJJCommunity Hope that is ok and I really don't mean to offend.

The year was a bit 'confusing' for me too... Google 'claims' its 2007 which is the REAL date of MJJC but if you look at the 'introduction' on the main MJJC site it says 2001 :scratch:
