To Foreclose or Not to Foreclose: That is the Question

What happened to Conrad Murray's Las Vegas home? Fans speculate about Murray's home because we know that the home is located in the Red Rock Country Club, which just happens to be owned by Sunrise Colony. Fans were shocked to learn that Thomas Barrack and William Bone own Sunrise Colony. It seemed almost too convenient and coincidental that William Bone just happens to be the original owner of the Sycamore Ranch, and sold the property to Michael Jackson in 1988. Thomas Barrack is the present owner of the property that used to be called Neverland. Michael Jackson sold the property to Thomas Barrack (Colony Capital) in 2008, at a significant loss, although Jackson did seem to retain some profit sharing of some sort. I could go on and on about the "coincidences" of the property ownership between Bone, Barrack and Michael Jackson, but I digress. (That is for another blogging day.) The real question here is...what happened to Conrad Murray's Las Vegas home?
Since we have heard literally nothing in the media regarding the Red Rock home owned by Murray, fans have speculated that perhaps Murray has now avoided foreclosure. After all, Murray has retained private attorneys and he travels between Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Houston regularly. And so we ask...WHO IS PAYING FOR MURRAY'S BILLS? Did someone pay Murray's defaulted mortgage to avoid foreclosure and more importantly, who would do that? It certainly would lead fans in a direction of who may be behind Murray regarding Michael Jackson's death. This would fuel the theory that Murray avoided foreclosure to A) pay Murray for the murder of Michael Jackson or B) (and a more plausible theory) to buy the SILENCE of one Dr. Conrad Murray in an attempt to cover up any wrongdoing in the death of Michael Jackson.
The public records for Conrad Murray are located in two places in Nevada. The first is the Clark County Assessor's Office for property records, and the second is Clark County Courts Office for civil legal proceedings. On the second site, there are records for 5 civil legal suits against either Conrad Murray or his practice, Global Cardiovascular Associates, Inc. In the first four cases, ALL CASES WERE REMOVED ON THE SAME DAY....4/24/09. Now why, you ask, would all the cases be removed from court proceeding on the same day, only 2 months prior to Michael Jackson's death? I would need someone who is a legal professional to answer that question, but it certainly is something that makes someone say....HMMMMM.
The last case is the foreclosure of Conrad Murray's home. Case A-10-615557-J is Conrad Murray, Petitioner vs. Federal Deposit Insurance Co., Respondent. The case was opened on 4/30/2010, and is a request brought by Murray to move his FORECLOSURE MEDIATION TO FEDERAL COURT, rather than the Clark County Court. On 5/27/2010, the Clark County Courts granted Murray's request to move his case to federal court. See below:
My screen shots are not of the greatest quality, but links are provided below so if they are hard to read, you can look yourself regarding Murray's foreclosure and the other civil cases that have been removed.
So the big question is WHY WOULD MURRAY TRY TO MOVE HIS FORECLOSURE MEDIATION TO FEDERAL COURT, rather than keep it in the Clark County Court? According to wikipedia (which I realize is not always accurate and I try not to use) REMOVAL JURISDICTION (as in Murray's case) can occur in two situations. The first is if the plaintiff (in this case it would be Federal Deposit Insurance Co.) has done something unconstitutional. In other words, if the Federal Deposit Insurance Company had somehow violated Murray's first amendment right to speech or religion...then Murray can request that the case be moved to the federal court jurisdiction. Personally, I feel this is highly unlikely. The second situation is if a defendant has DUAL CITIZENSHIP, called diversity jurisdiction. Well, we know that Murray, more than likely, has dual citizenship in the United States, Trinidad and Tobago. So Murray has probably used this to move to delay his foreclosure on his Las Vegas home.
The point is THIS. As of May 27, 2010, NOONE HAS PAID OFF CONRAD MURRAY'S DEFAULTED MORTGAGE ON HIS LAS VEGAS HOME. As it should be, Murray is still desperate to pay his bills and retain his property. This information should put some minds to rest, as it did for me.
