Controversial MJ Documentary Leaving Neverland [GENERAL DISCUSSION THREAD]

If TMZ can reach out to them and get them to make any comments, then TMZ can at least ask Safechuck about the train station fraud and why that among other lies makes people, including Chapelle in this case, sceptical about LN. So far Safechuck hasn't said anything about it yet.

IMO TMZ/Harvey makes $$ pushing this agenda. Harvey is completely biased on this subject. When Part 1 aired they had Taj on and he destroyed Wade and James credibility. They said they would bring Taj back after Part 2. That never happened.

Michael Jackson's Estate Blasts Wade Robson, "Sorry, You Weren't Good Enough To Direct Our Show"
https://theblast.com/c/michael-jackson-dave-chapelle-wade-robson-molestation-john-branca

Michael Jackson's estate has come out swinging after Wade Robson went public about his displeasure with Dave Chappelle and Netflix for the comedian defending the pop star in his comedy special.

Wade responded by reportedly claiming it was "disgusting, irresponsible and inexcusable" for Netflix to allow Dave to make like of sexual abuse.

But, as Michael Jackson's estate and defenders have said all along, they believe Wade Robson and James Safechuck are lying about MJ molesting them.

Branca pointed to a recent video released online and asked, "how can you see this and not question these guys."

John Branca, the executor of Michael Jackson's estate, tells The Blast, “Wade’s accusations emerged only after his book failed and we turned him down for a job with our Las Vegas show 9 years ago. He couldn’t get a job until HBO and Dan Reed hired him. He’ll say anything to avoid answering the question of why people like Dave Chappelle don’t believe him or to address the factual holes and inconsistencies in this one sided documentary that did not interview a single person other than the two guys and their families, who are in it for the money."

He finishes with this note, “Sorry, Wade you weren’t good enough to direct our show.”

MJ's executor is pointing to something that has come up in the lawsuit between the estate and Robson. The estate says after MJ passed away, Robson reached out to them to beg for a job directing a new Las Vegas show. As we reported, Robson wrote in an email to show producers, at the time, saying he thought he would be perfect for the job.

Branca's statement comes on the heels of Wade Robson going public about his issue with Dave Chapelle's new comedy special "Sticks and Stones", where the comedian pokes fun at MJ's accusers.

"I don't believe these mother*******", Chapelle admitted in the special....

So he knows how it started and probably has been checking facts since the beginning.

Reading Apatow’s tweet reminded me that people can be incapable of looking at accusations on an individual basis. It is very possible for Weinstein, Kelly and Cosby to be guilty and for Michael to be innocent.

And the only reason Michael’s legacy is considered “complicated” is because the media and the entertainment industry have decided on that narrative.

As fans we have to keep pushing until it becomes ludicrous for that word to be a part of Michael’s narrative.

Marlon Brando Confronted Michael Jackson Over Sexual Abuse Allegations

A revealing conversation has emerged between Marlon Brando and Michael Jackson, in which the actor recounts Jackson’s reaction to the sexual abuse allegations brought against him in the early ’90s.

During an interview between Brando and prosecutors during Jackson’s 1994 trial, the actor recalled a conversation he’d had with Jackson at his Neverland Ranch.

“I had asked him if he was a virgin and he just sort of laughed and giggled,” Brando said in the recorded interview, adding that Jackson was uncomfortable with the “f-word” and was too embarrassed to speak openly about his sex life.

Brando continued that he went on to grill Jackson about the allegations of child abuse against him, after which he said Jackson began to cry and admitted to hating his father.

“With this mode of behavior that’s been going on, I think it’s pretty reasonable to conclude that he may have had something to do with kids,” Brando said. “My impression was that he didn’t want to answer because he was frightened to answer me.”

Brando’s son Miko had worked for Jackson at the time of the conversation, which is how Brando, who died in 2004, came to speak with Jackson at the ranch.

The previously undisclosed conversation is revealed in the season finale of the Luminary podcast docu-series “Telephone Stories: The Trials of Michael Jackson,” which airs Sunday.

Miko will take care of that.

I hope so. And I also hope we can trust him to set this right. Nobody can tell me that as big a thing as this alleged conversation was supposed to be, that someone else in the Brando family didn’t know about it and couldn’t have testified to it in court in 2005. Why is this coming out now unless it’s an attempt to ride the negativity wave from LN?

Interesting cause Brando - believing that Michael was a child molester - took to the stage to honor him at MSG in 2001. Umm okay.

Yeah I don't believe Marlon ever said any of that at all.

Anyway, I've been checking out many tweets about Mike's birthday, real nice. From his nephews, from Latoya, but I didn't see any from Paris, Janet or his two sons. Didn't Paris at least always used to tweet now and then about very fond memories and especially on his birthday each year? I've no idea why she doesn't, I just hope she isn't not doing it because she might be afraid of idiotic reactions from pathetic folks. She really shouldn't.

This is exactly right. Considering there was a recent article about how someone's hamster died and they worked MJ into the headline of that (apparently they Photoshopped a pic of the hamster in heaven with Michael), this is absolutely just people's cheap attempts to use his name as clickbait. There was also a "news" article recently about how someone (a member of Guns n Roses, I think) got a picture taken with a MJ impersonator. It's ridiculous.

Brando was a bit of a nut in general. One only has to watch his appearance at MSG in 2001 to know that.

I think the Marlon Brando article is just one of those things that the press can rush out and poison the well further - so that when the facts come in, all the minds will be made up already and people will have moved on with the desired conclusion.

I also think that the media is noticing that Dave Chapelle is garnering the vast majority of support from people for what he's saying about Michael. And since Dave is getting support for his comments - they want to bury the story with something new.

I'm having a hard time finding anyone disagreeing with Dave, actually. I'm shocked.

I think I underestimated how beneficial Dave's visible and open support is.

Did MTV secretly drop Michael Jackson's name from the Video Vanguard Award?

Page Six first reported last month that MTV was considering dropping Jackson's name from the VMAs' Video Vanguard Award in wake of the Leaving Neverland sexual molestation controversy. But MTV, which renamed the award in his honor in 1991, called it the "Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award" on Aug. 12 in announcing that Missy Elliott would be this year's recipient. Yet Monday's VMAs ceremony omitted Michael Jackson's name in presenting the award, even though Elliott said in her acceptance speech: "The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award means so much to me." MTV's YouTube video of Elliott's speech also omits Jackson's name. Yet MTV's website on Monday described Elliott as "the newest recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award." MTV has yet to comment on the VMAs omission.

If Marlon B really thought MJ had anything to do with kids then why the hell would he continue to be MJ's friend, work with him on YRMW and honour him during the MSG concert?

Marlon and MJ were friends until the end and my assumption is Vanity Fair doesn't mention any of these things.

My personal take on it is, IF marlon said those things then he changed his mind. OR he was another asshole taking advantage of MJ's generosity. (There were reports the he was paid something like $1million to appear in YRMW).

Yes. I don’t think Marlon Brando would be able to keep a secret like that from Miko when he had to know Miko’s wife and children were some of the people around Michael. Why would Marlon Brando even be involved with the “You Rock My World” music video if he thought Michael was guilty?

I've said this before, but it's worth repeating. There are radio stations banning MJ's music, but Roman Polanski (Who is an actual pedophile) is still allowed to make movies (His next film is out November 2019), and his films are still available to watch on Netflix. And he got a standing ovation at an award show.

In Hollywood the innocent people get thrown under the bus while the real pedophiles are protected and celebrated
