As the reality of life as we know it continues to splinter and disintegrate at an alarming rate, we can at least take solace in the fact that the healing power of music can still change our world. And considering that it's also Pride Month, and that Michael Jackson's music was all about inclusivity, acceptance and transcending barriers, he's probably the perfect person to turn to for today's pandemix. Most of the Casinos in Las Vegas are re-opening today putting safety measures in place against COVID-19.

While most of the casinos and hotels are re-opening, all shows are still currently closed but you can pre-book tickets shows for MJ One starting on July 2.

It is not know yet what measures Cirque du Soleil will put in place but the date is set for now.

By the way, I just read that AMC theaters aren't enforcing the requirement of masks in their reopened theaters since apparently, the CEO does not want the company to be "drawn into political controversy."

What is wrong with people, seriously? I've met children that have bigger brains than the idiots over at AMC. Such a shame, really. At this phase, it should be justifiable to lose faith in humanity.

Well, to be fair, people do remove their masks to eat their snacks and drink their beverages, so...

But I guess the aspect of no mask requirement in a public place, even in a movie theater, is what really grinds the gears here

Good point. I actually never thought of it in that regard. Excuse my fogged thought process.

Yeah but seriously, the fact that people, who do not suffer from any condition or disability that would prevent mask-wearing, are not wearing masks in public in the midst of a pandemic is just a kick in the balls of the nurses and doctors who risk their lives daily treating COVID patients and making sure that the death toll does not rise. I'll be pissed if I turn up dead in the hospital if some idiot without a mask transmits the virus to me, in spite of a mask on my face.

Wear a mask so the case count can decrease and the hospitals' capacity can decrease, and so this country can have a much happier ending. It's common freaking sense, but in this case, UNcommon sense.

I guess Americans have just given up on the pandemic because, in all truth, worrying anymore about it won't do any good. Pretty soon, we'll be dropping like flies, and a high percentage of the world will be deserted. But I guess no one is that scared anymore. We have accepted death.

My gosh, is it so hard for you people to put a piece of cloth or fabric on your face for not even a full day? Doctors and nurses who work in full and stuffy hospitals wear not just face masks, but full-on hazmat suits for over half a day on a constant basis, so is it really that hard for you to wear a face covering for like a few hours in public? And look, I understand it is summer, and it is humid, but why go to the beach during a pandemic? You can hang out in your pool, where it is safer. Or, if your house lacks a pool, sunbathe out in the backyard or something? The beach isn't even that fun anyway (ugh, hot sand and salt water). It's big brain time people.

I swear, some people, or should I say, idiots, like this just piss me off so much. I won't even be sympathetic if they contract the virus, I'm sorry. In fact, I could care less about how much it has affected their health when they have put others' health at risks for making dumb decisions. F off with your bs.
 
I wish I was sick right now, not from the virus, but I wanna be away from my family, they&#8217;re really stressing me out and my mom&#8217;s making me in a foul mood because she&#8217;s been chewing me off and that pisses me the hell off makes me even more homesick than I was. And you know what, I don&#8217;t even care if the library reopens or not so I can be here, I just wanna get away from my family, I&#8217;m getting sick and tired being stuck there, but I&#8217;m even more sick and tired of them stressing me out and putting me in a bad mood. I wanna go home!
 
Just found out last night that most of the province of Ontario are on Stage 3, reopening business. But parts of the south region were still on Stage 2 including GTA (Greater Toronto Area). The reopening will be on this Friday.

Seriously, just do it. Anti-maskers are fools. I wouldn't be caught with those types of living beings.
 
Face masks, bandanas and scarves are mandatory in my hometown since July 23rd, got my own large black face mask like I wanted and Val-Mart gives out disposable masks for a dollar.
