Quite impressive the continious demand for Thriller, considering it's released 3 years ago.

It's not sold in common music stores.I haven't seen the mofi stuff from off the Wall Thriller dangerous in any music store
it‘s not the best quality for Thriller nor DangerousPeople want the best in the best quality
It was never considered an error by MoFi, so no. They released the album exactly as they intended, they said. Now that Dangerous MoFi is back in stock, does anyone know if the sound imbalance on tracks such as Jam have been corrected?
They haven't fixed them and don't intend to do so as according to them, the original master tapes were like this, which is in fact true but has been corrected for the original release. Will You Be There was also falsely transferred with Dolby Noise Reduction enabled. Now that Dangerous MoFi is back in stock, does anyone know if the sound imbalance on tracks such as Jam have been corrected?
Not sure whether to buy it or not now. They haven't fixed them and don't intend to do so as according to them, the original master tapes were like this, which is in fact true but has been corrected for the original release. the original 91 sounds far surperior, the only thing that makes it „worth it“ is the dynamic range but due to the balance and transfer issues it‘s not really greatNot sure whether to buy it or not now.
I agree, especially the NJS songs lose their "edge". Those songs were supposed to sound noisy and hard hitting. Jam sounds incredibly muted in energy.the original 91 sounds far surperior, the only thing that makes it „worth it“ is the dynamic range but due to the balance and transfer issues it‘s not really great
I hope both HIStory and Invincible are re-released. They deserve it. BOTDF too, but I don't see that happening. Is there any information when history will be released as a mofi version?
HIStory (3x33), BOTDF, Invincible 2x33 - SuperVinyl/SACDI hope both HIStory and Invincible are re-released. They deserve it. BOTDF too, but I don't see that happening.
Since History is a semi GH album, an April release would make sense. Just in time when the biopic hits theaters.Bad is up next
it includes tracks from the Bad album tho, therefore it makes more sense to release Bad before HIStorySince History is a semi GH album, an April release would make sense. Just in time when the biopic hits theaters.
Pretty much Bad will be saved for 2027.it includes tracks from the Bad album tho, therefore it makes more sense to release Bad before HIStory
I'm 99% sure HIStory will just be "HIStory Continues" without the Greatest Hits part.Since History is a semi GH album, an April release would make sense. Just in time when the biopic hits theaters.
This is up to Epic Records. If they say "no", then MoFi has to release a 3LP/2CD set.I'm 99% sure HIStory will just be "HIStory Continues" without the Greatest Hits part.
Again, 99% sure if that's the case, there will be no LP, only a 2 CD set. This is up to Epic Records. If they says "no", then MoFi has to release a 3LP/2CD set.
Makes no sense for mofi because Thriller off the wall and dangerous came with lp cdAgain, 99% sure if that's the case, there will be no LP, only a 2 CD set.
It would be too expensive otherwise.
Have full confirmation that‘ll be 3LP/2SACD releasesI'm 99% sure HIStory will just be "HIStory Continues" without the Greatest Hits part.
It would be pointless for MoFi to do the greatest hits section, since it's just an objectively bad sounding GH compilation, why would you "improve" a greatest hits that sounds horrible when you've already fixed the original tracks in the past? And considering that... then MoFi could just re-use their own remastered tracks for the compilation right?
Well, that's not what MoFi does at all, so that's not option either.
Not to mention, including the GH comp would make the price on HIStory sky-rocket for no reason.
Indeed. I think the original was a triple vinyl, but I pity the fools who would want a MoFi version, because, as you say, it would run into the hundreds of dollars, lol. Complete waste of time, money and plastic. Not to mention, including the GH comp would make the price on HIStory sky-rocket for no reason.
Why? HIStory Continues already had a standalone release at least once. This is up to Epic Records. If they says "no", then MoFi has to release a 3LP/2CD set.
Doesn't matter. MoFi can't act on their own. Epic determins the how and when. Why? HIStory Continues already had a standalone release at least once.
Well that's ****** stupid lolHave full confirmation that‘ll be 3LP/2SACD releases
Well not really, HIStory was released as a double album / triple vinyl. That's how it's supposed to be presented and listened to.Well that's ****** stupid lol
