I didn't I just thought he worked for AEG..I guess I was in the dark on that one...I didn't know he was the Lawyer for AEG.

The president and chief executive of AEG Live, lawyer Randy Phillips, estimated Jackson would make up to US$100m from the 50 London concerts - perhaps rising to US$500m for a world tour.

Yet Phillips downplayed his firm's motives.

"We're not in this for the money - we're taking a huge risk on Michael," he said.

He is the Chief executor or AEG.....hmm...makes me start to think about all of those contracts.....and those physical documents that have gone missing.

I think Chief Executor basically manages the company (the boss) so doesn't really have any involvement with the legal side of things apart from probably recieving the reports and any information he'll need. I don't think they've worded that very well though as it could suggest he's AEG's lawyer but I'm assuming it means he used to be a lawyer, before he became CEO.

I think you may be correct..I can only find that he was an undergraduate at Stanford University...I guess I should of read it better...but...i do do other research and thought he was a real lawyer.....it is just still odd to me that he has ALOT of legal knowledge about contracts...still makes me wonder about all the other things that I have previously stated though....even if HE himself cannot legally draw up contracts...I am sure he KNOWS people who are willing

I had read in some article posted on this Web site a while back that he has some kind of legal knowledge. Not surprising really. It would serve him well. The "we're taking a chance on Michael" stance seems ridiculous when we look at how things were arranged; & no is not at this late stage. Some fans had noticed this before July.

I think that he is lawyer by education and he probably worked as a lawyer before (but I don't know that for certain), but now he is not a lawyer, his job is the CEO of AEG (the boss of the company).

now they're telling that. a huge risk. i wish he told us why he considered it a HUGE risk

i did not know wehre to post this so i thought that a thrEad about Rnady would be good;

here in this video 2:19 Randy said that Michael asked him:

how many shows do i have to do in one city?
Randy answeres him:
50 minimum

now ,
why MJ said in one city?

why Randy said minimum?

why this was not explained before in the contract ?

Michael was right when he said i woke up to find myself booked for 50 concerts. becuse it is clear no one discussed this with him before the number 50 appeared in the site?

i know that it seems later on MJ decided to carry on and maybe he thought of adding the3D when he knew how much the budget would be....

but still this was a very vicious move by AGE !
